Shows real dedication to understand what the user wants and needs, and trying to build from it. I think that given some time, this will really take over. I can only imagine how potent the raiding game will be, but the real question is, when, if not on initial release, will we be able to raid for Hello Kitty?

The only 8 year old girl I know refused to even play Viva Pinata until I pointed out to her that the kids could eat their parents in the game. I don't know why every marketing person thinks that little girls are genetically programmed to think of life only in irridescent pink and glitter.

The sad thing is, it will be very hard for young children to truly enjoy MMO gaming or the internet becuase of all the "adults" that make it the pool of disease infested swill it is today.

My friend's niece plays some online shit called webkins. You can only say pre-defined phrases to each other, so it gets rid of the pedo-factor. I could see something like that working for the Hello-Kitty thing too. Plus since you can translate the phrases it would work for Japanese and Americans (similar to the phrase-translating stuff in FFXI)
