| Plugged In Like Neo | MMORPG Tycoon Make your own MMO with MMORPG Tycoon - Massively This should be a perfect game for all those of you who think you could make and run an MMO better than those who do it MMOTycoon is an indie game that was created for a procedurally generated game contest. The entire game is just what the name implies. You own an MMO. You design the MMO, you run your staff of designers, programmers, artists. You can hire and fire as you wish. You have to keep your community and forums happy. Here is the link to where to download it: MMORPG Tycoon [FINISHED] More information from the source: Quote:

+32 Internets | I have never entertained the idea that being a CEO for a MMO would be fun. I guess I could try to Brad it, load the game, pop some opiates and watch in a haze of denial as my developers and community disintegrates around me. |

| +Internets can now be exchanged for free original thought potions! | All of my favorite games were launched in a forum by a guy with less than 100 posts. Also: Number of variables this guy has that effect your success: Less than 20 Number of variables in a REAL game that determine success: >1000 Any game that could accurately measure and test something like this would be a breakthrough in AI technology. |

+9 Internets | Cuppy, Cuppy, Cuppy. Step out from Raphs shadow - he's not the messiah, he's just a very naughty boy. You used to be so cool, now everything you post is either kissing Raphs ass or posting something he has blogged about. |

edit: checking Raph's page, I see he posted about it. But Cuppy at least linked the news story on Massively, and not Raph's site. Last edited by Zarcath : 06-11-2008 at 03:14 AM. | |

| My interest has been immediately destroyed by the extremely slow (and by that I mean laggy) way that it runs.

+2 Internets | I'll get stoned and play with this later. Thanks. Actually, no I won't. It's still a cool idea though, if apparently not fleshed out.
