The LS I was active in up until February did all of that heh- It makes things go alot quicker...

If the barrier for re-entry wasn't so high, and I had 5 motivated friends who could play FFXI on a set schedule like Mon/We/Thur 7-11pm EST. I'd love to go back, but I can't make myself do all the farming, bag expansions, subjobs etc.

Easily the best group experience of any game I have played. I pray nightly, that skillchains will be added to WoW.

Skillchains... something nobody ever does in FFXI anymore-

I'm a BLM and I try to get my groups to Magic Burst. It's tough, 'cause you're always teaching people how to do them, but people are still willing.

The burn mentality has filtered down from late 70's grinding and now people simply can't be arsed to bother with SC's when they can grind on mobs that die in a handful of hits before their shadows wear off. S-E are still oblivious to the fact that Utsusemi: Ni on anyone but ninjas breaks their game as much, if not more, than complete heal in EQ.

Yes, because, Einherjar, one small fraction of the game, is representational in a discussion about the detrimental effect Utsusemi: Ni is having on the game as a whole.
