| Also Shadow Priests have about 30% Crit without using any crit gear (dammit stupid slow armoury won't let me check my gear!).

| I know it's not much, but I really love the fact they aren't afraid of changing places that have been set in stone since day one, particularly Orgrimmar and Stormwind. There are some things that WoW does wrong, but one thing they do very well is making the world feel alive, between the many holidays and the zone revamps (anyone remember pre-AQ Silithus? Haha). Also, the fact that some major characters "evolve".. Rexxar moving to join his people on Outland, Grommash Hellscream going to Northrend to make his dead daddy proud, Tirion Fordring remaking the Order of the Silver Hand, the Scarlet Crusade moving to Northrend as the Scarlet Onslaught.. really gives Azeroth a life of its own I find. |

| My point was, just about every MMO out there claims they have an ever-changing world, where you make the storyline and watch it grow and evolve.. and it's simply not true. WoW has been able to make individual characters really evolve (see Lord Kazzak getting promoted after he opened the Dark Portal..) or kill major characters (see Nefarian is officially dead in the WoW storyline) and that's refreshing to see. But perhaps it is because WoW already had a huge amount of Warcraft lore behind it when it was released, while other MMOs generally start their own lore from scratch. |

Obviously, while some characters in the WoW canon lore have been confirmed to be dead (Nefarian for example, since we are still unsure about C'thun and Illidan, though signs point to the latter being dead for good), most other characters who get killed weekly in raids are still there the next week due to the game mechanics. Another example of "evolving" character is Prince Kael'tas Sunstrider, who was officially defeated in the Tempest Keep, but did not die (as seen when you hand in one of his Verdant Spheres to A'dal and Kael'tas taunts you about his survival).. then he had to undergo "demonic surgery" and was sent to the Isle of Quel'danas to oversee operations at the Sun Well. With his defeat in the Magister's Terrace and Kil'Jaeden's little speech mentionning how "the expendable have perished", it seems Kael'tas also is finally dead.
