| True enough, if ten-mans become increasingly popular then the effects on raid class abilities will be interesting. I mean the modern ret paladin would have been a force in 40-mans, is good in 25-mans but is shit for 10 or 5 person shit. There are lots and lots of scaling issues, from threat to AE to healing and class stacking and the like. The obvious ones though are any raid-wide expected buffs or debuffs and those are damned tight to balance in a 10 person situation. Oh well, it's increasingly looking like I'll come back and play out the levelling content for the hell of it and then drop sub for a couple of years. We shall see though, perhaps they'll amaze me with the 25-man stuff yet. |

| Didn't want to open a new thread about it, but it seems Blizzard is catching up with EU realms botters and stuff. Apparently they banned about 350.000 accounts for botting and announced another banwave for wintraders and the like soon. Mr. wowglider is working around the new software detector that was in 2.4.2 and according to him is not in Warden. I have no confirmed sources for any of the above things, except I'm sure a ton of players have been banned and a multitude of threads on the official words have been either removed or locked.. Side effect of all this: Lag is severely reduced ![]() |

| The funny thing is that the vast, vast majority of botters just wait a week or two until some way to get around the new detection has been coded in, buy a new account and are level 70 again in 2 weeks. Blizzard gets $90 per ban, they get to look good in front of the community and the industry, and the game is left in the exact same state as it was prior to the incident. |

In a 10 or 15 Man, not having 1 class can lead to a HUGE problem/imbalance. Which can only be dealt with having Copy/Pasted Abilities or really really intelligent classes. 10 Man with 2 Paladins or 2 Shaman will be quite different vs an AE Fight. | |

| They get a new talent to boost their spirit, plus it seems like they're making changes to try and encourage all caster classes to pick up more Spirit gear.

+24 Internets | As far as we know they could just nerf spirit's value like they did to stamina on wotlk gear, and end up with everyone at 400+spirit. It'd also help the mana regen disparities if they did something so every healing class can get same passive regen. |
