| Did noone else like Mauradon? The place was epically huge and had mutlple paths in. Once you got past a certain point you got that transporter stick or whatever it was and could forever more skip the early content if you wanted to. It was built great for rogue or druid stealth groups to go in and knock out bosses if you had the skill and other classes could solo the princess with mad skills... Oh and love DM and BFD. BFD was great because even today if you can find 5 people to do it chances are they are decent players at the game. Most noobs have no idea what or where BFD is. Also the underwater optional boss in BRD was a joy to find. Oh and Zul'Furrack was fucking awesome. DING! The boss who leveled up was really cool to remeber. The Hakkar fight was awesome the way you had to beat him. Heck all the fights in ZG are memorable.

| Pretty much all the zones weren't terrible at all, especially coming off the camp mentality of EQ. Uldaman was my least favorite (and still is) followed by ST simply because the zone had a relatively terrible layout imo. Mauradon wasn't a bad dungeon at all, but I was past it by the time it got released to live servers, same with DM. Dire Maul is popular because it had the best loot for many offspecs (dps warriors come to mind) and had a lot of really useful items and that f'n dragonslaying manual. Strath/Scholo I felt were ok but I got bored of the undead theme fairly fast after having spent so much time in east plagues. The rest of the dungeons were like "Hey you've been leveling in STV, how about a dungeon of giant plants and scary centaurs!" or "Hey you've been killing undead since level 50, how about evil orcs and dragonkin and dwarves!"

| maraudon was a fun dungeon I really liked the look of it a lot but it suffered from two issues. One its at a very very awkward level range so many get to high for it before remembering to even try it. Second if you are not with somebody who has the staff its a LONG dungeon. For a level appropriate group its almost a two day run. Run it a couple hours to get the staff then regroup again to use the staff and jump to the end part of the dungeon. Given the level ranges involved most just did not bother which is a pity its a really cool dungeon. |

+40 Internets | Pfft, dying in EQ meant going afk for 20 minutes. In WoW you actually had to like, steer your character back to the instance. How annoying! There were times where I would seriously take EQ's 96% resses over WoW's repair costs. Fuck, remember when you could stack consumables, or even when flasks didn't persist through death? Every raid death was a kick in the fucking balls. For a time WoW's death penalty could be far more painful than EQ. Thankfully both games have nerfed that to nothing. (EQ = 200 plat to summon your corpse to a room full of waiting res and buff bots. Oh noes!) WoW raids could easily be as ball-crushing annoying as EQ ever was if it just sped up trash respawns, but thankfully they don't do that shit to us. |

| The Littlest Hobo of MMOs | I always envied the fuck out of necros in EQ for their ability to summon their corpses regardless of where they died and then rez themselves. I still get the sweats thinking about a particular nightmare I had trying to find my corpse in Tenebrous Mountains with a chipped bone rod. |

A mass rez would be awesome in WoW. Priest level 80 ability clearly. circle of rez. If nothing else, make it a targetted AE. Raids would be great...DIE IN THE CLUMP! | |

| Blackfathom Depths was very fucking popular back in the day. Sunken Temple = Fucking cakewalk now. The entire zone was fucking difficult for people who weren't in their 50s or high 40s. Now, you can do the entire zone mid 40s or so. Granted, you DO need a tank at level 49-51.
