Their customer base gets tailered to what they do (ie, the easiest shit to implement) not visa-versa. Think about it: instances. Yeah, I guess they have some benefits for players, but they largely help the devs by saving labor--rather than having to produce dungeons that can support a lot of different groups at once, they just copy the same small one over and over again. And the people who can stand instancing play the game, and those who can't just leave. Don't ever assume that blizzard implements something because it's the best/most fun option for the players. Blizzard is all about investment/returns and they use their IP to convince people that their method of game design is innovative rather than cheap: battlegrounds rather than world pvp instances rather than large dungeons skill trees rather than well-designed classes the list goes on.

And they did say it would work on players as well.

Until you get full alpha/beta leaks leaking talent trees and trainer skill list for every class, it's pointless to argue about these kind of things. Oh and they might just change their mind on taunts, or have other projects for the pvp future than they did last time they said it wouldn't happen. Things change.

| Well, Northrend is supposed to start with "livable" zones with some vegetation (according to one of the older interviews), then get more and more snowy and frozen as you progress toward end zones. I doubt they have completed any of the end zones yet, so they can't show them. |

I agree that I am a retard and that BRD looks and feels awesome and epic, they need to make more places like it (Evil Ironforge in Wotlk should do the job). But the content in that place is utter shit. I've killed the last boss twice and first time probally was around 06, although I had cleared MC and BWL by that point and killed things like Baron Rivendare a million times. You must have started playing in late 06 because before that everyone was 10 manning lv60 instances with lv56 players, lv56 probally being the level you need to be to finish BRD. I'm my personal experience Horde never went there and Alliance never went back after Jailbreak (with the exeption of exploiting to the MC zoneline). Perhaps your guild runs on US servers were different, or maybe you where that single idiot rogue that spammed chat asking for people to get him a shanker.

The instance was full of faggy gay trash (dark iron dwarves were gay in Uldaman, lets put some more in). The design was mediocre at best, it only stands out because most WoW dungeons sucked back then. The dungeon sucked for xp, sucked for quests (especially that alliance one), and sucked everytime we had to go through it to get to MC before the attunement was implemented.

| +100 points to Tigole if one of the fights involves keeping a giant named "Fro'Zun Moz'Ez" charmed to tank a boss called "The Avatar of Battle". hehe ;P
