Fixed. I liked BRD. I no longer play WoW.

Their customer base gets tailered to what they do (ie, the easiest shit to implement) not visa-versa.

Think about it: instances. Yeah, I guess they have some benefits for players, but they largely help the devs by saving labor--rather than having to produce dungeons that can support a lot of different groups at once, they just copy the same small one over and over again. And the people who can stand instancing play the game, and those who can't just leave.

Don't ever assume that blizzard implements something because it's the best/most fun option for the players. Blizzard is all about investment/returns and they use their IP to convince people that their method of game design is innovative rather than cheap:
battlegrounds rather than world pvp
instances rather than large dungeons
skill trees rather than well-designed classes
the list goes on.

I'm assuming the pull works in pvp and not the taunt part.

No..they haven't said anything yet. I just think its funny they add something they said they wouldn't yet don't mention changing anything else. I assume if they do the one they will fix the other....but until they say so I just think its one those obvious things they should have said something about.

And they did say it would work on players as well.

While you can bitch at features(or lack of) of a game like aoc that's being released in a week, bitching at random stuff from an alpha said by a spokesman in an interview 6-8months before the thing is even ready for release is just plain stupidity. Especially since they said nothing specific about the other classes.

Until you get full alpha/beta leaks leaking talent trees and trainer skill list for every class, it's pointless to argue about these kind of things. Oh and they might just change their mind on taunts, or have other projects for the pvp future than they did last time they said it wouldn't happen. Things change.

Well, Northrend is supposed to start with "livable" zones with some vegetation (according to one of the older interviews), then get more and more snowy and frozen as you progress toward end zones. I doubt they have completed any of the end zones yet, so they can't show them.

The preview video seemed to show some lost valley/Un'Goro crater looking zone (glowing crystals and all). Titan research lab nearby, perhaps?

I started playing about 2 days after it was released because that's how long the first patch took to download on a 56k modem.

I agree that I am a retard and that BRD looks and feels awesome and epic, they need to make more places like it (Evil Ironforge in Wotlk should do the job). But the content in that place is utter shit. I've killed the last boss twice and first time probally was around 06, although I had cleared MC and BWL by that point and killed things like Baron Rivendare a million times.

You must have started playing in late 06 because before that everyone was 10 manning lv60 instances with lv56 players, lv56 probally being the level you need to be to finish BRD.

I'm my personal experience Horde never went there and Alliance never went back after Jailbreak (with the exeption of exploiting to the MC zoneline). Perhaps your guild runs on US servers were different, or maybe you where that single idiot rogue that spammed chat asking for people to get him a shanker.

That's The Wakening Land Sholazar Basin, the world PvP zone. And yes, it's pretty much the same thing as Un'Goro but the actual Titan zone is Ulduar - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft

Your thinking about Lake Wintergrasp with the PvP. Sholazar Basin is a mirror of Ungoro/Uldum with Scryer/Aldor style factions.

The guy hit the nail on the head dude.

The instance was full of faggy gay trash (dark iron dwarves were gay in Uldaman, lets put some more in). The design was mediocre at best, it only stands out because most WoW dungeons sucked back then. The dungeon sucked for xp, sucked for quests (especially that alliance one), and sucked everytime we had to go through it to get to MC before the attunement was implemented.

I do like how it essentially *IS* Velious in Azeroth as Itzena pointed out.

I guess this is what we get with Tigole at the helm.

Hey, I've got no problems with WotLK being Velious again. I liked Velious, even as a non-raider.

+100 points to Tigole if one of the fights involves keeping a giant named "Fro'Zun Moz'Ez" charmed to tank a boss called "The Avatar of Battle". hehe ;P
