TC: Yeah, we have talked about that possibility. One thing we're also talking about doing -- we haven't finalized it yet -- but one possibility would be that the instance actually has to be defeated by somebody on that server in 25 man mode before it can be unlocked for 10 man. With of course some kind of fail safe, so that if some amount of time goes by and it still hasn't been beaten, it would unlocked for the 10-person anyways, just in case there doesn't happen to be a guild on the server that's capable of doing the content. That is definitely a concern we're actively talking about how to approach.
Oh cool, so instead of there being no point at all to 25-man raiding unless you really like to stroke yourself, instead there will only be no point to 25-man raiding if you aren't cutting-edge.

Now I barely played lotro but you're talking about the dungeon in the old forest right? What was so special about it? I remember a ton of cramped corridors with undead and some spiders and nothing special about it at all.

You're still a retard though, because BRD fucking sucked.

Walk off a pier. BRD is the pinnacle of epic dungeon design. I can't think of anything that even comes close.

Ultramax must have been either the guy that never got his Hand of Justice, or the blacksmith who had to do anvil runs.

Blackrock Depths looked great and massive dungeons are great, it is certainly epic but it's a few levels too low (why make a lv58 instance!?) and the wings are not clearly defined enough. You have to wade though tons of trash to do anything. Stratholme and Blackrock Spire are much better.

Barrow Downs is like anti TBC modual instances... and it sucks. I did it last week and we just followed on guy who seemed to know the way, got 1/2 of it done then got lost. Lotro has decent outdoor content, but really fails with the dungeons.

The new info on Wotlk is amazing, Blizzard are a little too slow but they listen and get shit fixed usually. They have reclaimed my sub, just hope they get PvP sorted also. I mean fucking hell, 8 person seige engines with physics?
I think that AoC and WAR are now in the early stages of being raped.

Blackrock spire is a horrible horrible place and you should feel bad for mentioning it.

BRD not BRS.

Seeing BRD in beta was what made me purchase WoW despite the PvP not being implemented (and inevitably sucking.)

you are an absolute fucking retard. brd is the ONE dungeon in wow that stands above ALL the others. it's the pinnacle of wow design that hasn't (and won't be by looking at tbc) been matched.

Maraudon was no slouch either. I personally didn't care for dire maul much, but BRD was definitely a fun experience when you were of level for the instance.

BRD would have been a lot better if most of the loot wasn't crap.
