That's a fucking list and a half of solid, solid shit. Make any of that and you'll make quite a few people happy.

One thing I don't get is why there isn't wide spread use of a loot tell mod. 12p had a simple /tell mod where the officers opened up tells, linked [Item X] with keyword loot1/loot2/loot3/etc and it stored names and comments. Officers ended /tells when they felt everyone had their say, and it printed out all the names with their comments in O chat in a very pretty way. Used that shit right up until 2.0 when it broke and my friend didn't feel like fixing it again.

In BC, this one guild back on Arathor made a mod that had an actual GUI with some buttons you could click that said upgrapde, sidegrade, or offspec and a place for comments. It ranked people by what button they clicked in alphabetical order, and automatically showed the loot they were wearing for the slot.

Other than that, I haven't seen shit for loot distribution mods. Man a comprehensive mod with that + loot history + any DKP you assign it would be tits and a half.

I'm not investing any $$$ into this project other than my own time (and the time of one of my coworkers). I don't have unrealistic expectations for what it will become (Development for something that I'd eventually like the site to become would take thousands of development hours), but I do have high hopes for making the site modular enough to where adding in any extra features would be a snap.

The loot distribution mod sparks my interest quite a bit. My coworker did his senior design project by making a WoW mod and I'm sure we could pump something like that out. It could be a our flag ship "product" until we get something tangible online.

Speaking of which, what are some good ASP.NET hosting spots?
