You can switch off in game adds via options; forget exactly where.

This game is worth a come back (or a first try) as froob, until you reach 60 and finish the temple of the 3 winds. (welcome to Karnor, please train right )
Past this dungeon...the lack of players is really painfull, and the game turns into a mission token grind. Still fun if you play with a regular team though, despite the lack of dungeon.

Anyway, it's a very good free game. I still think AO could have been a real hit.

ps : if you play this game without the sound, you'll miss 100% of the game

Couldn't agree more. The music / ambiance really sets the feel of the game. I'll be setting up a free account. If we get more people playing I'll subscribe and get my MP going again. Make your characters on RK-1, that's where my main account is set up.

There are more dungeons after the temple of three winds, and a good few leveling spots too. The borgs outside Mort come to mind, I think you can get 90-120 off them.

I played for like 20 minutes after they first started this free stuff a few years ago. I was playing WoW a shitload though since it just came out. I'll give it a try again.

If you listen to Gridstream (great music and base parties on AO servers), they have a ton of Orgs that advertise for new recruits. I highly suggest getting to 20ish and joining one. It makes life a lot easier and most are willing to answer the 10000 questions you will have.

I'm playing around with an MP/Trader combo, and after about 8 hours of dicking around I finally have them both implanted and setup with all the nanos they can cast for the time being. I love the implant system in the game, but man there's a lot of things they could have done to make it less of a headache.

Names are Astriaal and Urkraft and they are Omni.
