| Fun is not annoying. | Instead of e-mailing Funcom, just create another account, log in and petition. AO's ARKs (GMs) actually have a lot of control and generally get back to you ASAP. Just a suggestion. I have done it plenty of times when I had account issues.

| What's a better strategy, ignoring games like this that should just die already or playing them so that they linger on without any remarkable updating? Here's my history with AO: beta/launch: horrible piece of shit game later on when i thought about it again: horribly outdated looking and nearly opaque systems in game, requiring mods to make playing the game bearable later on when people rambled about it being free: still looks old, still has the same issues and bizarre turn of events in the later expansion (as far as I cared to read). So basically, I have always been interested in this - or any SCI FI mmo - I have always wanted it to be good and am happy that it's hanging on by the fingernails, yet never actually sat down and played it due to these various roadblocks. I really want to play a game like this and enjoy it. Clicking on "screenshots of the day" and laughing? M'kay, I think it is time to move on. Release World of Anarchy Online 2.0 already. |

| The game is fun, there's just a point where if you don't have anyone to play with, it becomes boring. I'm not even sure I was ever guilded the times I went back to play. checked one of my accounts Quote:
edit: logged on my 34 MA. I think I have to start back from level 1, I don't remember anything. And what's with all of the damn advertisements now? The damn navy and speed racer ads kept looping and looping, I didn't want to stay in town. Last edited by Zarcath : 05-02-2008 at 10:43 PM.

| You guys must have originated all of these accounts using the free offer then. As it's been explained to me, any previous paid account can not be converted to a free account, not matter what expansions you have on it. |

| If the account only had Notum Wars prior to it being added to the free offer, then the account is converted to a fr00b account automatically. If it had Shadowlands, Alien Invasion, or Lost Eden, it doesn't get converted.

Greetings, My apologies but if your old account had previously been a "paid" account, you are not eligible to convert it to free. You are welcome to open a new account however. Hope this helps! Good luck and safe travels! May fuzzy kittens purr for you. I played on my two accounts from launch for free for a while as recent ago as last month. I paid for them for 18 months form launch and hadn't touched them since.
