WOW, Season 4. Arena or GTFO

First day of Season 4 was easy as fuck. Went 2200+ with no effort whatsoever..thx scrub teams!

Crazy my druid will have 1900+ healing now in full pvp resto gear,and Bear form puts him almost at 14k.
Now I need to farm the feral and boomkin gear..

70 wins even at a meager average of 10 pts per win? Not too unimaginable.

I played 10 games of 2v2 last night with a s1 Lock. Of those 10 games, every single team had S3 weapons. That's not a problem this time because it's the start of a new season. The problem was how horrible these players were. Out of the 20 opponents, maybe 2 of them were good enough to deserve the weapons. I knew point selling was bad but I never thought it was this bad.

We went 6-4 as a Holy Pally/S1 UA Lock and one of those losses came from us both mysteriously going LD as soon as the gates opened. The other 3 losses came from Rogue/Healer teams where they just cut through the lock. With all the Melee/healer S3 teams we faced, there is no reason why we should have ended in the positives.

I inspect a lot of people in BG's just to see how they're geared.. you'd be surprised how many people have blues/greens and an S3 weapon/shoulders.

They aren't called welfare epics at all. If a random scrub has S3 weapons/shoulders with greens in other slots it means he bought his way to them.

I'm not sure that you understand how the system works. By the 1800s you'd be getting 3 point games on the first day.

there were people well over 2400 on the first day,and 70 games is nothing.

Most of the scrubs I talked to played over 70 games just to get there pants.

Because you'd be the only person winning games obviously. So I'm not sure you understand how the system works. If you had played on the first day, you would know that it was busy as fuck. Considering you rarely if ever saw the same team more than once, combined with the fact that in any game..someone wins and moves up. Once you hit the 2ks, I'd imagine it slowed down, but even then, I bet there was at least 50 other teams up there with you.

I've been looking at the armory and I can't find a single team that's 2400+ in s4. I see a few people now just getting over 2050 for the weapons, but that's it. Can you link your armory column? I'm very curious to see what your win/loss ratio is to get over 2200 in the first day of s4. I would also like to see a 2400+ arena team with s4 shoulders or weapon. I find it very hard to believe.

Zerai, what you said doesn't really make sense. It "might" be possible to get 2400 on the first day if every single arena team played for like 12 hours straight, but in reality it takes a little while for the ratings to inflate up that high. On the first day, it was taking a while for me to get games in the 1700s without losing any games.

Uh...

You needed a high rating for S3 weapons/shoulders. They aren't called welfare epics at all at that point. Maybe you can call S2 stuff welfare epics now though.

Ill never link my characters on a site covered in wow devs. Sorry not going to happen. blizzard is banning people left and right nowadays for no reasons whatsoever.You can believe whatever you want to believe,makes no diffrence to me..

And yes there were people over 2200 on the first day. The top of my battle group i believe was 2400+.
