| I have pretty much drunk the Blizzard-as-God koolaid, but the S4 armor is so bad it makes me sad for the future of WoW because of what it implies. It's not just thats its ugly. It's not just that it all looks the same for classes that are supposed to be wearing cloth v. plate. It's not just that they had better armor in the past and this is a big step backwards. The real scary part is that whatever mechanism for quality, for polish, for care about the product just 100% failed and gave up on this area. They are serving up a big shit sandwich and don't care. Sure, its just the look of the armor, its not a major game mechanic, but, imho, its a crack in the veneer. This armor looks AWFUL TO EVERYONE (and took no effort to make or try to make good) and they are just letting it ride. |

| 24th .. thank god. Still 2 months too late but it's better than waiting even longer. And yes, armor sets look WE TODD DID. My sole consolation is the fact that since I probably won't break 1650 for at least the first few weeks of arena, I won't have to look TOO ugly and I can just turn off helms (even though I like the look of my s1 and t4 helms). Not sure why you're saying it like that when that's precisely what I meant. I didn't mean to obfuscate at all the fact that I wish I had real life friends so I could spend time with them instead of this retarded game when stupid shit like this happens. Congrats on solving the case, detective. |

Why do you care so much about doing arena if you're so terrible at it that you don't think you're going to break 1650?

| I think given the look of the sunwell badge gear and the season 4 armor they were kinda phoning it in so they could switch full gear onto the expansion. I am almost glad I can't get many pieces of season four as its pretty darn ghastly. Honestly though finishing off my set of season 3 armor will last me fine until the expansion. |

| i cant believe any of you still play wow, spring the $40-50 and play aoc. its got a ton of shitty bugs and can be annoying as fuck sometimes, but still, i'd rather spend an hour a day in there (even playing it as a solo game 99% of the time) than do the exact same shit in wow i've been doing the past year. hopefully more ppl desubbing to wow and subbing to funcom will put a big boot in blizzards ass and get them competitive. i'll probably be back to wow in wotlk, unless the expansion just blows, but until then playing aoc (until that gets boring), war beta, and console games >> snoozetbc |

I am a "good" pvp'er in the sense that I react quickly and usually make good decisions on the fly. I'm a "bad" pvp'er in that I usually avoid the 'big picture' strategy and while playing a dps class focus on killing the other side and ignoring game objectives and while playing a healing class end up just staring at Grid for minutes at a time just casting a new lifebloom/regrowth every 1.5 sec. That being said, in 2v2 if a very well geared and skilled warrior teamed up with me and I got a couple dozen games of practice in in order to fine tune my moments (make sure I'm in los when he needs to intervene, etc) I have little doubt he and I could hit 1900 minimum and depending on what full s3 rerolls we face maybe even 2000. The problem is since I'm fairly anti-social I generally stick to the few people I have on friends list + guild as my available arena population and the guild I'm in is anything but skilled pvp'ers (except for 2 of our warriors who already have teams with no room .. I asked). So I 2v2 with a rogue friend and .. bless her heart she's a very nice person and tries very hard but .. she isn't very good. I see her keyboard turn. I see her walk into a flare and I can just tell she's trying to hit cheap shot and wasting 2-3 seconds doing nothing not understanding why her character isn't doing anything. I see her blow every mobility cooldown up front then bitch on vent at me about how she's kited. I could go on. We've lost games because of me: I'm nowhere close to perfect and my gear is comparatively worse than hers since I'm a reroll, but the sad truth is with her, 1700 is basically our glass ceiling. I don't ever ever EVER see her having the necessary reflexes needed to compete past that point against players who have muscle memory in dealing with getting away from rogues. When s4 launches my hp should go up around 1000 (ballpark guess) and my resil will go up about 100 so that alone will carry us into the 1600s since most every game we lose I die first. But in truth, the reason I arena is because she's my friend and I have very few of those (in game or otherwise) so to me, those 10 arena games a week are the social equivalent of hanging out with your friends at the club.

| Welp 1700 is very easy to get even with the worst team makeups. That gets you all of s4 minus weapon and shoulder I believe, but then again you can just get the s3 weapon now and shoulder to make up for it. So its still retarded easy to equip a pvp toon imo,its just a tad harder to get the shoulders and weapon.

| Those numbers don't show the truth IMHO. How many of those are boxed accounts? How many are afkers? how many are people that lose on purpose? How many are pvp account sellers , how many of those are people curious about the arena and try it out for a couple games then quit etc etc.. Anyone who has played Arena even passively knows that 1700 is extremely easy to reach.
