| Shaman sets always kicked ass. I remember tier 1, with those giant earthfury epaulets that looked like lava rocks. T2 was wolves on the shoulders with lightning. Ricky Bobby came out around that time and I remember we kept calling them cougars. Badass. And one of the Outlands sets was crazy lava fire on the shoulders and in the helmet, it looked cool. But you need to be indoctrinated into WoW's graphical style. After a while, if you look at those armor sets, you just laugh as Warlock Tier 9 gets bigger and better faggoty wings. |

T3 was so much better in mostly every case...except paladins really. Well, just against paladins. Man that shit was comical for the rest of us. | |

| Paladins definitely hit their peak in T2, it's been relatively downhill from there. With giant-phallic downhill at T3. Warriors hit their best at T3 and have been downhill since then, with T6 being a slight step up but nowhere near Dreadnought levels.

| So they mentioned (recently? saw on mmo champion) the reason s4 is being delayed so long is its link to pve. Times like this I really really wish I had some other hobby to fall back on. Reading, other games, sports, even just friends .. because that is the lamest most retarded fuck ass excuse I've ever seen. So you don't want to release free epics that everyone has already seen in their entirety (so the whoa factor is gone) when 0% of the player base has kil'jadean loot. You need to wait until 0.01% of the people have it. Makes PERFECT sense. And for the record, it was specifically mentioned that it is being tied to the last gate progression so we can't even look at the maybe 2% who have any sunwell loot .. its purely the m'uru / kj loot. The game would be so much better if they let go of this ridiculous notion that pve and pvp are somehow intertwined. I think the true irony here, is a very hefty percentage of the time when I click someone's armory who I know to have high end loot (such as an mmo-champion or wow forums link) that person is a gladiator or at least on a 2000+ team, but how often do you see the reverse? So if anything (granted it's not a perfect comparison but still) pve is already ahead of pvp. Those that do the former are beating the curve on the latter anyway .. why do we need a couple kj bows to drop (which has ABSOLUTELY ZERO IMPACT ON MY GAME WHATSOEVER) before us 1500-1700 scrubs can buy our new toys? And I'll pre-respond because one of you mental giants will pull something out of your ass using the words "deserve" and "you" and "don't" which of course has nothing to do with the topic at all considering s4 opens for everyone at the same time, they are already instituting minimums which will BY DEFAULT lock out over half the playerbase (80+% for some pieces not even including weap/shoulder). Plus, the reason s4 is being delayed has nothing to do with whether I deserve the items .. it has to do with some bullshit decision that pve and pvp somehow have to hold hands on the yellow brick road of progression. I saw somewhere the number of weeks we've spent in each season .. the first 3 were something like 21, 20, and 23. IIRC we're at 30 for this season and (unless I missed it today) since they always give at LEAST 2 weeks, that means it's going to be at least 3 weeks from today. MAKES PERFECT SENSE BLIZZARD. < /rant> |

| I was looking at MMO-champion for the Season 4 stuff...was I missing it or are there only 3 or 4 'suits' that will be shared between classes? Is that what Chaotic was alluding to in his post? |

| The Littlest Hobo of MMOs | It's the same as Sunwell gear. Cloth set has an identical skin with just a different colour for each class, same with leather, mail, and plate. As I say, they have more money coming in than ever before and they just toss this lazy shit at the players. |
