| That would have been an accurate count before server transfers opened up, but not today. I see about 4 Alliance for every 5 Horde around Mal'Ganis.

Also, WoW is a solo, single player game for all intents and purposes from 1-69.

Anyways... In WOTLK they'll be bringing in a concurrent tiered structure. So this is really just a precursor to this. You'll have your upper echelon gear at 2200 points, mid tier requiring 1700 and scrub gear for 1300+ . Makes more sense because you can have actual gear progression then. Introducting it in S4 kinda sucks because the scrubs are getting a big 'yoink!' pulled on them but in the long run it's healthier for the competitive spirit of the game. Honor and the BG system still need a huge fucking revamp. Unless they have some hidden trick up their sleeve, blizzard seems to think one new BG and an uninspired 'random' daily is going to solve all the tedium problems.

| I swear to god I'm going to find a way to camp Eks again from 70-80 like I did 60-70. Those were good times - he had unbalanced as fuck PoM spam, I was a rogue in amazing gear. Seriously, though, transfers have pretty much fixed the faction imbalances on Mal'ganis. There are just lots of people everywhere, and you can do as much or as little pvp as you'd like.

| Lord of the Dance | Well, in one of my earlier posts I also suggested that the personal rating requirement for gear each season should also drop for every win you get on your current team. Will, if nothing else, encourage people to not reset teams every week just because they went 3 and 10 for a net PR loss. Would encourage people to eventually play at a level they're capable of, hopefully get better over time, and keep the incentive to keep playing even after you aquire your scrub level gear in the hopes you can unlock the not-so-scrub level gear. Eventually you should reach a point where you're winning 5 games every week and losing 5 games. Your PR may not go up, but the requirement goes down. Yes it rewards to the drooling shitheads, but at least with this...it rewards them for actually trying. |

| For those talking about not wanting the time commitment or planning or friends to do arena, how about paying 80g for your own 2v2 team, and once a week advertise in trade chat "x class / y resil lf partner 2v2 for 10 quick games for easy arena points" and revel in the 20 tells you get, then play arena for an hour or less to win & lose about half each (unless you suck or your gear is god-awful) . Next week do the same thing if your first guy sucks or isn't online. The beauty is in forking over the 80g for complete control over your 2v2. |

| Lord of the Dance | So apparently hundreds~thousands of people are getting temp bans and all their arena gear deleted. Blizzard has been monitoring win trading and is now cracking down on those who did it. Since most point sellers also used win trading they're getting hit hard too. About fucking time. Though the sheer amount of "WTF BLIZZARD I DIDN'T CHEAT FOR MY 2400 RATING I JUST GOT REALLY LUCKY AND FACED MY ALTS 428 TIMES!" posts on various forums is making my dick hard. |

| Hah, I like the guy saying he didn't win trade... but the guy he shares his account with did the win trading. He's trying to escalate it to get his gear back, because well, he's not guilty of win trading after all. Good luck with that one skippy. |

| That's so awesome. "An example is deleting all the arena gear obtained over the course of 5 months? If you think that its reasonable to take away all of someones gear, even if they did cheat, that's stupid." Comedy gold. Get fucked~ |

| haha, my 2 accounts win traded 3 chars to full 4/5 s3 + weaps (coulda gone to 5/5 but just got bored), they've been expired for about a month now, I wonder if there is any way for me to check if the equipment got jacked... be funny to log back in before WOTLK and have like no gear. Armory still shows the gear but I think armory doesn't update unless you login/logout ![]() but glad blizzard did this, win trading was fucking retarded (~3 hours to 1850, ~5 hours to 2k), and even the upcoming patch only slightly nerfs it. If they bring down the delete item/suspension hammer hard on everyone it'll prevent people from doing it more effectively than any serverside rules they could implement. |
