WOW, Season 4. Arena or GTFO

Whether or not it's easy is irrelevant. Statistically, only ~10-15% of the population will be able to get 1700 personal rating and all but 5 pvp items require that or higher. In other words, it doesn't matter how good the average player is, or how great YOU are .. 80-90% of the playerbase gets practically nothing from S4 BY DEFAULT. That is a glaring fucking issue sport.

I'd wager to say...fuck'em they don't deserve T6 ilvl items?

That's not a glaring issue that's a slight semblance of RvR.

They still get cutting edge Belt,Necklace,Trinket, Gloves, Offhand no matter how shitty they are. They should feel privileged.

Congrats missing the fucking punchline. It wouldn't matter if every single arena player was a bastion of skill, 80-90% of them would get dick all regardless. And you cannot legitimately make a "deserve" based claim when any shmuck (point at me if you want to as 10, soon to be 11 of my items come from badges) can get T6 pve loot. Considering the wide scope of that loot (soloing, 5 mans, raids, dailies, even BGs) compared to pvp loot (any of the previous at lower efficiency or arena), there is zero basis.

Most people aren't going to give 2 shits about their offhand and jewelry has very low point allocation to begin with so s3 to s4 difference is a couple points of sta and ap/spell. That leaves belt and gloves as anything close to a serious upgrade. Pardon me if I'm not jumping for joy.

23 pages of 20 teams for 3v3 and 5v5 = 460 teams each ladder, 25 pages for 2v2 =
500 2v2 1000
460 3v3 1380
460 5v5 2300
4680 people on teams now I know this number is high since a lot of people are on a 2v2 3v3 and 5v5. Your also looking at teams rank 4900ish with a 1600ish arena rating when the armory cuts out at 23-25 pages.

If you hit wow cencus there are around 10k lvl 70 people on skullcrusher.

Sure these numbers are not 100% acurate but I think you get the point.

So around say 60% give or take of the 10 million people playing will never see the season 4 gear.

Feel free to do your server and see what you get. You can google wow census and wow armory and find your server I'm sure.

Yeah, 10-20% are the bastions of skill and they get the loot. What's so hard about this to understand?

All the millions of the shitty arena playing WoW scrubs are not going to quit doing because they can't get a few pieces of gear. Their sorry ass 300 point a week teams which they actually get points on once every 3-4 weeks maybe will keep them around through the better part of the season getting pieces they can actually get.

As for battlegroups, I say good fucking riddance if the green wearing fresh 70s stop doing them.

However, one is different because it can be used in PvE? So because it can be used in the venue it was acquired with, its...different (again, even though the PvP legs can also be used in the venue they were acquired)? You argument on difficulty of acquisition is now altered by usage? Even though the point of your post was about needing items for usage in PvP?

Ok, how about this logic. The rogue s4 legs will be equivalent to the legs dropped off of Felmyst, lets bet which legs you eventually see more of on your server, because I am pretty confident that a lot more fucking people are going to hit 1550 rating then will kill the third boss in the hardest dungeon.

Edit-Just have to say, your logic seriously makes my brain hurt....Same Ilvl, Same "difficulty" level in acquisition, same "tailored" made stats for usage in a specific area and one doesn't count because the people who get it suck? Well, what the fuck do you think the people wearing the badge loot are doing? Thats right, sucking, because they should have gotten the real second best legs in the game, the t6 legs, which drop from an exceedingly easy boss to get to and kill.

Just read below for the summary.

The leg upgrade is less drastic in a PvE setting because its one increase out of 25, rather then 5..So even if your rogue gained a full 2% increase in DPS (Like he went from a blue to those pants), the overall raid DPS increase may be 1/8 of a % (If you bring 15 DPS). While the increase of a single set piece is only divided among 5 in the arena..So, now that I have used your amazing logic against you, whats next?

Going to have to agree with Makata on this one. The jewelry for the most part is fucking terrible. As you said at least the belt and gloves are pretty sweet, especially since S3 (and I guess soon S4) gloves are pretty much required for any ret paladin. Belt is one of those slots that has fucking awful itemization, so I'm all for not having to arena for it.
