Ok so in beta I was warrior like EQ warriors are VERY equipment dependant. I suggest if you going to make one get a friend or something to make you some kick ass weapon around level 30ish. Any compentant group with a tank shouldn't steal aggro, can't blame it all on the tank.

If the paladin is not in offensive aura and got gift of peace on him he got 70% less hate so can do at less 70% more dps than the warrior, now add to that the paladin is not stupid enough to use his agro abilities (vol anary not till 80% or so and no hate dot...) and the warrior is using his you can easily count 80% perhaps 90%.
Same deal with DK.
Keep in mind dps = hate in VG (i think the numbers are around 1.5 or 2dmg = 1 hate for a tank with no desagro buff), using taunts and what not should not be before using high dps abilities.
Also a paladin can succor his defensive target to totally wipe his agro (don't work on self) i think a war got something similar, monks can lower hate, psi aswell.... there are many solutions.

In my guild (we have cleared apw and whatnot) whoever is designed as MT (pal, DK or war) will be holding the agro the whole time, and about every tank as tanked every mobs, only agro lose happen to dps going insane on crits. So it is totally doable, the agro balance is not that bad, paladin having higher burst dps they can lock agro at engage more easily but i believe war got the best maintained dps.

I was trying to get this thread back on track for AA, I didn't want to talk out my ass so I posted what I knew about tanks in VG. I spose I could of said nothing but Legends need support too sometimes.
