Made 52 tonight with some help from Gwenda. According to her 60 is only like a 2 hour slaughter session, so by the end of this weekend I should be there!

0% of 52 to 21% of 61 in 90 minutes. Thats with my crappy excuse of pl as well, nadox slowed the hell down though so I left. 60 to 61 (which unless they've changed it is only half a level due to the way they calculated the xp curve donkeys years ago) took 15 minutes.

I'm sure someone with a top banana cleric (or insert other good pl class) etc will piss all over these numbers but thats what someone with just a melee can achieve by mass killing in a hotzone. Now I dunno whether to rinse/repeat in bot or go straight to castle 1 in fire.

I've decided to make a come back as either an SK or BST. I'll install EQ on my laptop as soon as I get a chance and should be rolling in a week or so. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

So I'm having some goofy issues with movement speed/animations/latency. 50% of the time when I log in, my character moves are insane speeds, his animations are all really fast, and I always hit the "spell recovery time not yet met" for a full 2-3 seconds after every spell. Other times everything seems the normal speed, and rarely my character will move at like uber-encumbered speeds even though my weight isn't even close.

There some setting like max fps or something that might affect this, is it a common problem? Do I have gremlins?

I believe that's just a latency problem.

Have an AMD multicore processor? When I started again my computer did the same thing.

AMD has a patch to fix the issue if that's the cause.

Intel Core2 Duo. It's strange, when the game is running at super-speeds it has really odd melee/range issues. Like, spell bars will cast uber fast, but then the spell won't happen for another second or whatever the real casting time is.

I'll get around to posting app for guild sometime tomorrow, gonna pass out nowish. Up to 53 now after some group action in Nadox, 55 looks like the money level for okay gear though.

I remember when that first hit back in '06/'07, almost every game you had "Speed Hacks". The optimizer was the only thing that fix'd it for me. Intel is a bit different of course and I believe they're saying it's lag.
