Obsequey up to 40 now, even has a couple okay items this guy gave to me. I may make 45ish before I sleep tonight.

Who is around the 50 mark still working on levels?

Damn you are moving fast. I tell you in other MMOs I am missing true Powerleveling like EQ1 has. Also, Recommended levels are an awesome item idea. Let the item grow with you.

Fuck that. Recommended level items are awesome only because noone has any interest in the 1-70 game nowadays other than to see how much you can overpower it or how quickly you can race it. If we actually played those levels like in the old days, it would fucking suck (a fuck) if the optimal gearing path was gathering 10 stacks of bone chips and trading them in for an item you'll keep until 80.

Unless you are talking about stuff like Required 45 Recommended 50. That's a great compromise. Required 0 Recommended 75 droppable stuff is retarded.

Got a yellow into 60 earlier tonight before I logged. Funny thing is I haven't been powerlvl'ing at all. Solo'd half of it in hotzones. other half was in grouped hot zones.

And all but like a hour of those were poor combo (2 bsts , 1 necro and once in a blue moon a ranger). Lol no one was heavily twinked.

Yeah I said it before just give people level 60 levels and some decent gear it takes like 4 hours to do that anyhow. Some AA to sweeten the deal.

I tried to fire up my old FV account but damn is that server a ghost town, sitting for hours LFG brought back bad bad memories. I swear everytime single time I ever quit EQ it was for the same reason, sitting LFG for hours sucks balls.

If getting groups was a 5 min thing, I would probably still be playing EQ to this day.

Make your way to the guild lobby off of PoK and check out the guild recruiting boards. Your best bet for getting groups is to join a good guild. The graphics in EQ might be a little meh but once you find a good group of players you can find some great fun.

Yep. Dunno bout ghost town persay but once I got into WoD pretty much haven't had a problem getting groups last few days. Even when I've had to solo for a few hour patches the hotzones made it a relatively quick and easy grind to catch up.

What level are you up to now? I've got a Wizard fairly close to 58 that I haven't had time to play lately, but could definitely log on if we were able to get a group going.
