I've been playing a cleric with some friends (66 now). We are having a blast just exping and doing random shit. We tried to get a guild made and was informed that it could take multiple weeks to hear back. Apparently the guild making process on FV is fucking retarded?

Alright I worked out a trade for some plat on FV so now I've got a buyer up and going.

Will probably start a bard in the next day or so and two box a healer of some sorts till I am 50 or so.

55 SK, 53 Cleric in about eight hours of grinding my butt off. Can't wait to get out of Nadox ;[

People on FV pretty nice so far as helping out. Got lucky the first day I logged in and some guy was quitting and sold everything on his trader for 1 plat a piece. I snagged like 50-60k in sellables so I ended up with like 200k to gear up with by the time everything was said and done.

i heard WOD isnt raiding anymore. i left a while back and joined new raiding guild. Purple Dynasty. check us out. Good group of people, mature and very solid foundation in the game. Only looking to add mature people. We raid 3 times a week and are more of a family guild.

Is there anywhere that explains the must have spells for max level classes?

There are so many damn spells for clerics and sk's and half of them look to me to be the same thing with different names ;[

I am 99% sure I bought any buy able ones that were necessary from Abysmal Sea/PoK for my chars but are there vendors later in the game you can buy from for the 60+ spells. I just bought a few for my cleric off the Baz but I don't want to pump a lot of cash into spells I'm going to use for two levels before upgrade or something ;/

Also 59 SK/Cleric w/ 8 AA's a piece wuwu =D

off course lot of spells are just upgrades from the previous one, but in every expansion they introduce always some new kind of spell. You should spend some time to check your spell for each level. Considering the speed you are probably levelling you can skip some spells if there is an upgrade. Cant tell you which ones tho, i play a warrior

know this tho, after lv 70, most spells come in 3 versions (rk1, rk2, rk3). Rk1 can be bought from vendors spread across the expansion they comes with, rk2 are usually dropped by normal mobs or with quests, rk3 are dropped from raid mobs (usually drop a rune you hand to get the spells)

here is for example Temerity (cleric hp/ac buff) in the 3 versions (taken from lucy)

1: Stacking: Block new spell if slot 3 is effect 'Max Hitpoints' and < 3457
2: Increase Max Hitpoints by 2457
3: Increase HP when cast by 2457
4: Increase AC by 126

2: Increase Max Hitpoints by 2904
3: Increase HP when cast by 2904
4: Increase AC by 144

I had the urge today to start over on FV today with a character I have there now. I think it would be fun for awhile to 2 box level up and not concentrate on raiding, but instead going through all the zones and killing named/bosses and keeping track of them, and seeing how much of EQ I could solo/duo. I know its a bad idea, lol and as soon as i start i know i'm going to be addicted so I'm trying to tell myself "no" atm. Anyone done this with any success/fun? Or am i just setting myself up for disappointment?

I did warrior/cleric, now I'm monk/cleric (see sig) and sometimes box the warrior when I want to kill stuff easier than healing over and over so I can just pop defensive and go to town on the monk. I wish I had a shaman a lot of the times while leveling or wanting to go do blackburrow or something, but the cleric has been good to me, requires less effort to box and I never have to find a rez. I get kind of bored just boxing shit by myself though and usually asks people to come along or want a real group anyway if I can. Playing alone makes MMOs boring and its why I absolutely can't stand the grind in wow.
