Between the AA change and the removal of flags the game got a whole lot more appealing for many of the reasons that WoW is so appealing - the ability to actually feel like you can move forward regardless of playtime.
Heck yea man. Level 80, 1500 AAs and full raid gear in 5 minutes.

Oh wait.

I hate to say it, but i'd rather grind AAs than honor, at least one of them is permanent.

Honor wouldn't be bad if the scenery changed. What always killed me about AA's. I farmed the same 16 mobs for 5 hours a day for AA's for about a month.

Then I wisened up, said, "Fuck this" exploited for my next 150, then got into the WoW beta and quit EQ. =p

I would love to see anyone find an old mob up from old dragons, to old luclin mobs to even stupid 1 group bosses that spawn in umbral planes like Tawro and Radir. Everything is camped for good. Even the fucking shit that drops NO DROP/NO TRADE items are perma-dead. It sucks for anyone of appropriate level looking to do that.

One more reason to play on the FV server. Most of the old mobs are left alone because the gear is such shit compared to what you can buy in Bazaar. I used to have Velious dragons and Ssra on farm status before I quit. I made 1 mil plat every 2-3 days or so for a while until I quit.

The bottom line is that me and others will reactivate a couple more accounts over this so basically the idiots whining on the official forums ought to just suck it real good because SOE aint gonna fuck up again and listen to them like they have for the last half a decade.

I don't even know what you are trying to say or why you quoted me. I didn't say anything about speed or trivialize anything about either game.

Yeah it's impossible to play just like those other games with gliders and macros.

With the exception of Anguish for augs/2.0s I don't see this making a difference, for the most part guilds unable to flag for the zones probably won't make any headway inside them.

Though its nice for not backflagging if you're working on the content /shrug
