| I'm playing the trial now, it has improved a lot since the last time I tried it (was around Issue 2 or 3 or some shit) but it still suffers from repeated tilesets in the missions. There's nothing fun about running three straight missions that use the same layout, just with slightly different objections. Creating a unique character and seeing some of the costumes people have designed still seems to be the high point of the game.

| I picked up EQ1 again about a month ago. Actually having some fun, splitting time between the new shit I've missed in the last four years and farming old stuff for spending money (scary part: I can still get around Sebilils and Guk and Sol blindfolded). |

+1 Internets | Even though I voted for it, all I do is pay the monthly fee lately. At the moment I am just playing the stock market (My pick of the week : buy FRP, $7-8 stock currently pays $1 annual rate dividend, expect it to more than double over the years)* *This recommendation represents the opinion of the poster only. Any moron who chooses to take the advice of an anonymous FOH poster deserves what he gets. |

| I just started playing LoTRO, because I never really gave it a chance at launch and because I need some sort of MMO fix until AOC comes out. I flirted with the idea of going back to WoW but I just don't want to go back to that community. I have always read the LoTRO community is very pleasant and I hope that AOC will be similar. |

| Currently playing WoW... clue in the Avatar message of course. I'll admit, though, I'm new to the game, and playing with a friend brand new to MMOs, and who has a Mac due to his work with graphic art, so it works well for both of us. He likes it for the art, flexibility and options of the game, and the casual element of it, I like it since I get to play with a RL friend who loves consol gaming and is just getting into MMOs and PC gaming. Both of us are looking at AoC though, depending on feedback, and if his wife will be okay with him buying a PC. ![]() My biggest gripe against WoW has been the watering down of dungeons and the lack of a need to be flagged for certain access. I like challenge in an MMO, and frankly my groupmates have to play like they're mildly retarded to make that happen (haven't reached any of the 25/40 man content though, so that should change). Due to my friend's interest of being Horde I'm playing a BE priest, and enjoying the class mechanics (as well as the backstories), but look forward to raiding.
