I loved Velk's lab.... hopping around the whole zone pulling shit from four or five levels below you was awesome.

Sebilis was the almost perfect dungeon, ToFS had a good atmosphere,

Darkness Falls - DAoC

Hands down best zone I've ever played in. So. Much. Fun. Everyone groups up at the entrance once another realm seizes control and waits for the flood of Mids or Hibs to come running up the ramps! Ahhhhhhh!!! Love it.

Also Caledonia (DAoC) - greatest BG ever IMHO. 35 inf / scout combo was downright hilarious. See a group of people running around, scout kills one befor they can even get to you, open with a PA / CD combo = another one dead, and then it gets exciting from there. Those were the best times. Had a group of 3 infs (including myself) I ran with - we could take on FG's with the 3of us. Good times...

....also ran around on my inf with a minstrel....downright OP...

*sigh* DAoC pvp was so much fun :/

Anarchy Online-CAMELOT! (Actually, no one on earth actually enjoyed being in Camelot, I lie. Temple of the Four Winds was the best. Every character from 20-66 hang out there the whole way, because it was that awesome.)
DAOC-Darkness Falls
City of Heroes/Villains-Steel Canyon (Of course, I quit shortly after using all the travel powers, but whatev~)
EQ1-Sebilis or 1st Fix Plane of Mischief (Second fix bled all the fun out)
EQ2-Solusek's Eye
LOTRO-Weathertop Instance Quest
Mythica-Fuck You Vanguard, all up in M$'s budget, the siege zone was awesome.
UO-Shame
Vanguard-The Kojani starter area was pretty cool when I wasn't slide-showing. Giant Red 5 dot monster randomly appearing from nowhere and splatting you was somewhat reminiscent of EQ1 griffons.
WoW-Scarlet Monestary (What, it was fun dodging horde to go there, and the set armor looked pimp)

Upper and Lower guk remain the most brilliantly designed dungeons in the mmo industry. They are complete mazes, with perfect monsters and atmosphere laid atop an unspoken story that just entrances you. I didn't even go through them before Kunark was released so I didn't see all these items and think 'Amazing shit' but rather 'This is exactly what I expect from a dungeon' and was able to take in the whole package.

EQ - Karnor's Castle - Between trains and spending a lot of my time leveling up my characters there, I can say I really enjoy that zone a lot. Really and honestly I cant say there wasnt a zone I didnt really enjoy in EQ (maybe Plane of Earth B)

WOW - Duskwood (I liked the storyline, creepy music/sounds, and the overall theme of the zone).

EQ - Estate of Unrest (if you played a Pally, this has to be on top of the list).

EQ2 - Nek Castle - More than just the zone, but how the story/quest was woven into the zone itself.

Anarchy Online - just about everywhere and anywhere outside, yes even dreaded Shadowlands was beautiful, inside and out.

DAoC - Midgard, especially the frontier. I still remember that little spriggarn sound. I love Norse mythology so I was in heaven there.

Vanguard - the area around Dargun's Tomb, with the steep slope coming up from the ocean. Gorgeous.

EQ - Kelethin, because it's where I first started, and I can still hear the music, the merchant song, and the sound of the bats squeaking and orcs walking/grunting. Unrest is a close second.

WoW - Blackrock Mountain/Depths and Blackwing Lair.

That's a hard question, EQ really did have so many awesome and fun zones.

It's so hard to pick, but I think I'll go with....umm...fuck it, there are just too many to pick.

Veksar was great, a later dungeon, but great atmosphere and fun.

Old Sebilis was great, Upper and Lower Guk were amazing, Crystal Caverns was amazing, Katta Castellum was indeed awesome despite being in the abortion expansion that was Luclin.

SolB/SolA were also very solid and a lot of fun.

Okay fuck it, I'll go with Crystal Caverns as my favorite. Just a really great zone, under-used, because it was a mid level dungeon released when almost the entire population was capped, but it really owns if you're actually doing it at the levels intended.

I don't think any WoW zones live up to those, there just isn't the same excitement with a new zone, I mean you have a minimap and cartographer, that alone kinda impacts the awesome value.

Dead Mines is definitely great though. I also really loved Black Fathom Depths.

For raid zones, BWL is my personal favorite overall, but the boss fights these days are more enjoyable for me.

I loved the dwarf starting area, Ironforge, etc as far as atmosphere goes for an outdoor zone.

EQ - PoM pre "revamp" by far, bar none.

I absolutely loved Fungus Grove, Katta, and indeed most of Luclin - I'm weird like that. Akheva and Acrylia were cool till you figured out there was no crazy secret to find besides how to keep Shei permastunned forever and ever.

In WoW, I'm a big fan of Blasted Lands and LBRS and BRD. I wish they had done more with Blasted Lands. Winterspring is cool too, although a little too big for only 1 FP.

EQ2 - Rivervale, Bonemire, Cazic

I'm gonna say sirens grotto for the mystery of it. We all avoided it for so long, and it wasnt really a zone to fuck around in due to rvr but. The times we went through for whatever reason and rampaged up the place was definitely a lot of fun.
