One thing is certain, you don't need to key a zone when you have a Brutallius at the door. That's about as finely tuned gear-check cockblock as you can get.

I thought the bow is projected to be useless before you even hit 80?

Sunwell Radiance is actually Sunwell Attunment. If you don't have the gear to keep your tanks alive, you might as well be locked out.

As a feral, its rather annoying, it changes my tanking goals. Instead of survival through high amounts of dodge, I now have to survive though gobs of hitpoints so I don't get sliced up in two rounds. Brutallus hits like a truck who's grill is covered in whirling blenders.

Sunwell Radiance is actually the begininng of the end.

Players doing too much dps? give bosses a -20 crit aura. Pretty soon it'll be percentage based. I don't mind it when individual bosses have a mechanic like that (like Souls), but this is going to end up like EQ death touches.

What's the problem? They aren't going to build on top of the mechanic, it's just going to last until they readjust formulas on the way to level 80.

What I'm interested to see is how Blizzard is going to handle some other intangible character progression avenues in WOTLK that they had in original WoW and BC. I.E Gold progression points like flying mounts.

Ive heard rumors that players, upon entry into Northrend, won't be able to use flying mounts until level 80. Probably because epic flyers create quite a rediculous leveling advantage over those without them, and the fact that you skip over alot of content just flying over it. So, if you can't use your flyer upon entry into Northrend, what the hell are they going to do? How are the going to work it to where it won't piss off the playerbase? My guess is...any mount obtained in outland, stays in outland. That includes, netherdrakes, wyverns, gryphons, etc etc. They'll probably write it off saying "you can only use mounts in Northrend that are used to the cold temperatures, a la Frostdrakes, Snow Wyverns and Ice Gryphons, or so insanely retarded shit like that.

Sounds good to me. Fuck that Phoenix mount.

375 Riding Skill - 25000G for the ability to use your flying mount in icy climates.

That may be a little bit out there, but every player is going to make at least another 1000-2000G leveling to 80, add in their alts and some huge money sinks are called for. Suddenly the guy who hit the money cap isn't going to be alone and there will be rumbling that the cap needs increasing...

Bring on mudflation, can I finally get an "arms" slot please for gear?

Some of my chars gear have bps that end at the fucking shoulder and have gloves that start at the wrist. It's cool I guess, if some mobster slashes off my arms!

No matter how many times you people say it, I still can't comprehend it. The game will have been out for over three (3) years or (36) months or (1000+) days and you think that's too early to face Arthas, the main boss of the storyline in a game that came out years before this three year period? What sort of life do you people live where three years is like a drop of a turd in the toilet?

I think they like to pretend that storyline means something and that 1.1 billion dollar revenue Blizzard won't make shit up as they go to keep expansions coming. Probably the same people who think the latter three of the star wars trilogy were envisioned by Lucas when he wrote A new hope.

After all without playing to "experience the contents storyline" what is PvE WoW beyond an increasingly ezmode infinite loot grind?

Between Sunwell Radiance and the future bullshit it will spawn, across the board sunwell additional content opening, boring lame gear check fights, attunement removal and T6 for Kara runs I really can't think of any other reason to PVE besides running through it once to get the story.

End Game Racing, gone. Using PVE gear to dominate pvp content, gone. Prestige and server-wide notoriety of being in a raiding guild, gone. Fresh feeling content without artificial cockblocks, dwindling. There really isn't much left to enjoy from the pve side of things.
