I have no doubt that the game will perform well and work on a technical level. I have serious doubts about their game design and philosophy, skill and class balance and mechanics.

After watching those gameplay videos linked on the previous page im confident they can make the game look good, was much better than i remember seeing it.

Balance is another thing entirely though, although its fun playing the overpowered as fuck class on release for a few months! Maybe ill get lucky this time around :P

Regardless ill be buying this come release, i loved daoc to peices when it first came out and ill give this a good go also.

The real problem in WoW is that the same set of very well done cannons is copy pasted everywhere, to the point of having 2 inn layouts, 4 caves layouts and so on, we know the drill.
In the end it gives a better first impression and a "meh" Nth one, while WAR will probably give only the "meh" one, so I guess we're agreeing to a point.

A "Miracle Build" is believable if they're still doing focus testing. I mean, think about it. You focus test dwarves. Collect Feedback. Implement all the suggestions/fixes/etc on an internal build, then move to Orks. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. I don't know where they are in their focus testing, but if it's with Dark Elves, there's a fairly good chance that they are indeed 3 months behind this internal build and will likely get further behind until the focus testing is done. Once it's done, you release the internal build, call it "Open Beta" (in the sense that you do a ton of Beta Invites to spread the population out) and spend the rest of the year polishing tweaking.
