I dont like the FSW on my Lock and shadow priest anymore, specially my lock. makes him look like a total gimp. I'll probably just switch him to badge gear anyway >_>

Also, why the fuck would they make the spellhit cap on a lock past 200? thats retarded

Because it caps on everyone at 200? (I think?)

yes, the cap is technically 202, but most classes like the shadow priest only needs what.. 75 or 76 extra spell hit with their shadow focus talent maxed. I think all other classes have a talent like that but warlocks? I could be wrong

Aff locks do have that talent which is why most locks start as Aff before aquiring gear.

Well you better have at least ~130 hit rating before you even consider Raidspec, otherwise you are just a gimp. Even then, I'm sure you are better off with a 40/0/21 spec.

I dont do anything outside of karazhan on my warlock so i actually havent bothered going past 140 hit, when i do actually spec 0/21/40 ii still manage to achieve #1 dps near every run :\ resists arent extremely noticable but they are definitely there. None of this being near my original point on.. warlocks need a +hit talent in the destro tree :P My lock is also an alt btw

Uh, you should be glad the hit cap for warlocks is, relatively, high. +hit is shotgunned all over T6 and Sunwell gear such that most casters will be easily over cap or only get partial use of it.

Also, being able to fully use more offensive stats means you get a better selection of gear. See shadow priests and FSW boots.

Lastly, I don't get this shit about hit rating requirement for 0/21/40. hit rating is a linear multiplier of your dps, wtf happens around 130 that magically makes it ok to spec destro?

With tailoring gear, destro does start outperforming affliction in T4. New badge gear makes the difference even bigger.

For afflic locks maybe (obviously they're interest in stats changes when they go destro) But for spriests FSW is some of the best gear in the game even endgame.

The robe and shoulder are best in slot until MH/BT.

The boots are the second best in game behind ones from sunwell.

Spriests care about one stat and one stat alone (hit isn't important, without even trying you'll hit 76, hell im at 101 and dropped down to 4/5 focus just because there's tons on gear) FSW's point are allocated about is perfectly as possible. Nothing is wasted, and it has shit tons of dmg.

If you're planning on doing tailoring do enchanting with it. Even for leveling ennchanting is extremely profitable. Instead of vendoring quest rewards and random drops for gold. DE them into enchanting mats worth a shit ton more.

40-58 in old world you will make retarded amounts of gold just DE'ing stuff that drops, not to mention if you do any instance runs.

Sunwell gear is pretty sparing for spell hit, however Hyjal/BT gear (ie the original 5 pieces of T6) really don't make any attempt to hide the spell hit.

That's because current tailoring gear is way beyond T4 level.

So you're #1 on damage in a raid spec but you don't really raid much and in your opinion warlocks "need" something.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Warlocks need to learn to stfu before it bites them in the ass. All it takes is one dev to "take a peek" and before you know it they find something else unrelated and deem it overpowered and the nerfs start rolling in.

If you have ~130 hit you can assume what your other stats are considering crit and +dmg, and around that point you start to outdamage what aff does.

This is approx high end kara + tailor gear.

It's not a requirement but a rule of thumb, in a "you're a fucking retard if you spec for DPS in a raid setting but then choose the spec that does less" kind of way.

Well I took Tailoring and Mining. It seems like Mining will pay for the Tailoring since copper bar stacks sell for 3g while linen stacks can be bought for 5s. I hope the pricing stays like that through all levels.
