| As stated earlier, the changes with leveling in 2.4 are really nice. I recently leveled up a priest to 60 in 4days 2hours, and then to 70 in a total of 7days 2hours (no rested). Before that my fastest to 60 was in ~10days on my warlock shortly before BC. |

| Warriors are viable tanks and dps *once you get gear, don't think about pve dps until you have at least 2 good epic 1h's* Priests: Are still desired healers, and shadow provides nice dps until t5 content then from then on does not scale but still provides excellent utility all the way through t6 and beyond. Shaman: All three trees are viable and sought after, resto being highest in demand...brain heal is retarded efficient and powerful. Enhance and Elemental are also loved in raid and group settings. Paladins: Can do dps as ret once you get gear, again you need a awesome sauce 2h before you can do "dps" very gear dependant. Holy is having some problems with scaling in t5 - sunwell content. Though having 3 pals in raids for all the major blessings is a god send. Prot are by far my fav instance / heroic tanks and have a major niche in ae tanking. Druid: The druid class as a whole is sitting pretty Bear tanks are viable through most of tbc raid content and perfectly fine for groups / heroics. Resto druids are solid healers. Boomkins do decent dps. Mage: Mages are more or less the same as when they were in BWL. Fire or Arc/ Frost are the most common raid specs. As a pure dps class they have valid complaints that other classes that have more utility / synergy are stomping on thier toes. However this only comes into play at t6 + level. Still highly sought after for instance runs / 10 mans due to all powerful sheepz. Lock: Warlocks are arguably the second highest dps class in the game. They scale retardedly well, and are lagging behind rogues for kings o deeeeps. Locks are pigeon holed into 3 specs at all ever in the endgame at all facets. SL / SL for 2v2 3v3, FG for 5's, and destro for pve. Hunter: Hunters are good solid dps as almost all 3 specs. You can have a token hunter of each spec for 25 mans. Competant hunters / not huntards can even cc in instances with the changes to traps. Rogue: Rogues are the kings of dps and run away with the show once they get glaives. In short You can be any class any spec anymore if you have the gear. Some of the irregular specs *ret pal / Fury war / boomkin / Enh sham / ele sham * don't shine until you are fairly decked but once you have the gear can do very respectable dps all the while providing good utility. |

| Yeah, I was quite glad when I returned to WoW and the first question I got while seeking for a group was "Can you Tank?." My response was, let me respec- then I went and tanked Ramparts in Tier 2/ Tier 3 gear. Was hilarious and fun... and not really that hard. Rounded out a decent feral set within a day after that.

| Well, shit, I made a mage. ![]() Is something like a DPS shaman viable? I don't really want to do a shadow priest again, which is what I had before, and I don't really like pet classes. Then again, it'll be a while before I hit endgame with my playtime these days anyway so I probably shouldn't worry about it. |

+11 Internets | I got my account back the other night.. account was hacked sunday morning (3am ish) called them on tuesday and got most of my shit back by last night around this time. still waiting for a lot of stuff but got my main chars equip back. with an exception to my PVE paladin who still hasnt been rolled back. thing is.. i have my war and lock back along with my priest.. but i still dont care whether i have the account anymore. I have the urge to just continue playing on the account i picked up 2 days ago on a completely different Pvp server. Clean slate seems to be really nice and being able to just level a new toon with hopes of becoming that highly saught out prot paladin tank is oddly motivating to play through what would previously be a "fuck that shit" situation. |

Elemental shaman is good in lower tier raiding but starts to suck later on, however still pretty damn good in PVP. | |
