[WoW] Thinking on coming back, how much has it changed?

Except you can also bank 100 of each BG tokens for an additional 30k or so of insta honor. Still not enough, but quite a bit.

Its been 10 days since I resubbed and I'm kinda bored already, playing about 2 hours a day (4-5 on weekends) and have boosted 4 shamans to level 45 in 27 hours /played. Its awful now, without the Zolo trick I just run stratholme for an hour before I am ready to claw my eyes out and logout. At this point I think I'm just really practicing 5 boxing, will be fun for 2-3 months at least to 5 box deathknights.

Oh, bummer, dunno why I thought it was in the 200k range. I guess it makes it even more important to be hitting 80 with at least 75k honor + whatever marks you need. Anything less and you're gonna be a mark.

I'd guess they make the weapons require the tokens from the new bg so people would at least have to spend a little time.

I'll definitely be going into WotLK with maxed honor and 99 of each token.

Yeh I'm starting to save up . . . I think the biggest mistake I made was grinding up a ton of honor a few weeks before BC came out (as they introduced the honor points system then) and then spending it on a weapon and 2 armor pieces, only to have those replaced 5 levels into BC >.>

I finally got my rogue to 70 a few days ago and have been working on my s2 epics. I have to ask: How are you getting that much honor in one day, vehn?

It's not really in one day... over 2 days really, the honor summary is a bit bugged in that regard. But I got a good 20k honor yesterday just doing AV (as it's AV weekend). ~400-500 (bonus) honor for every win, and most games last only 11 minutes or so. And I'm not quite saving just yet, as I still have 7 pieces left to buy.

Hrm, I guess I might be doing AV wrong. I'm on the alliance side and we usually win so I'm getting a lot of honor there, but I spend my time defending towers which don't usually get attacked. Are you spending your time on the front line, defending, or what?

you'll get most of the honor if you just defend SP graveyard and aid station, as long as you have at least 10 others defending with you. I've easily gotten 150+ kills in one game doing that. If noones defending and they take aid station, I'll just go offense or something, but games like that are over quick and neither side will usually not get more than 20 kills of the other team.

Just look for where people are fighting and go there, and try to have the stormpike insignia to teleport you back to aid station if you're on offense and see that theirs tons of kills going around where people are defending aid station. If horde are turtling, just go on offense and rack up some kills there. Queue on my server for AV is like ~5 minutes, so I jump into a WSG or something in between games (usually instant queue) to get some kills while AV pops

Presumably no more seasons until the expansion, and people are already done collecting their welfare S2 on honor and the various off-pieces. Takes a little while to hit the cap too, so you might as well get it done sooner rather than later.

Just want to echo what someone suggested earlier. If you haven't used a quest tracker, download TomTom and Lightheaded. Best move I've ever made, questing is 10000% less painful (trying to find camps, spawns, random items, ect ect..)

get Quest helper as well, it priortizes which quests to do first in order to minimize time spent questing. Automatically puts up an arrow with what to do, I just accept a bunch of quests and follow the arrow and it pretty much turns out to be the fastest route

Anyone know why quest helper would lock up the game sometimes when you get a timed quest? It happened when I did the affray warrior quest and when the stupid elekk riding quest in exodar. Both times I locked up, had to end process to kill WoW, and locked up again when logging in until the timer ran out. Both times turning off questhelper fixed it.
