Looks like this. Clicking the blue loc on the right makes the green arrow come up, ultra ez mode questing and even tells you time traveled to reach wherever you're going (which will be nice with flying mounts I'm sure). It also puts markers on your zone map so you can play connect the dots and hit all your quests in order.

I'm really digging carbonite too. You can get a free version which works just like what's above, or pay a nominal fee for all the extra features (it was like $5 or something silly, less than 2 gallons of gas).

If you're sick of quests think about dual boxing, it'll cost you around $60 - $30-40 for a 2nd copy of wow, $25 to xfer the leveled up character back to your main account - but it really rocks.

quest 1-10, SFK 10-20, SM 20-35, ST 35-60 and bingo your in outlands in around 24-36 hours /played, a lot lot faster than questing. Of course you do need a 70 main, preferably a pally. The bonus is you can buy extra accounts and level 2, 3, 4 alts at the same time with no extra hassle.

I do recommend you pick up engineering and enchanting on the alts, since repair bots are hugely helpful and you will get tons of greens/blues to DE (all 4 of my shamans are leveling enchanting at the same time, working out great). You can set loot filters so only corpses that drop greens or higher sparkle.

This is the beauty ofr 10man+25mans.

My current guild did (slowed down during summer vaca monthes) 25 mans 2, or 3 nights per week. The more devoted hardcore crew did ZA twice a week on top of that. Usually one of those ZA's brought in some new people so gear wasn't rotting. And one of the ZA's each week was our 4 chest timed run.

It was invite only and was the same 10 people every week, we would start after our monday night 25 man. So usually starting around 11pm. All 10 of us were serious, hardcore and wanted bears. We worked our asses off every week dropping our times. Finaly got our first bear before ever stepping foot in MH/BT.

I personally enjoyed the 10 mans a ton more than 25's. Everyone was serious, and you become closer and tight knit. In the 25 mans there are alwasy some people who I don't really know, never talk to etc.

I'm very much looking forward to hardcore 10 man guilds. Or being in a casual 25 man, that has a hardcore team doing 10 man content.

hey spronk. I have a 65 lock and a 70 priest on diff accounts. Is there anything i could concievably do to speed up the lock lvling with the priest?

I have a buddy lvling a druid up with me (eventually, he hasn't started yet) for 2s, I figure the warlock would help more with that, but I'm also thinking of lvling a shaman up with him on the lock account.

What stuff does a priest offer for plvling up, or even speeding up a char, and how do i do it? (haven't played wow in almost 3 yrs so i'm a little rusty)

Thanks

Depends how complex you wanna get. You can run 2 copies of wow and alt-tab back and forth with /follow and /heal macros to keep it really simple. You can get a little more complex and install KeyClone, then map a bunch of keys so one set of keys goes to the lock and the 2nd set goes to the priest, so for example 1-8 would be lock standard attack keys, whereas y-\ (y,u,i,etc) would send keys to the priest to heal the lock. If you JUST heal and don't group (dont invite the priest into your group) your lock will get all the maximum XP from killing. Of course you can also have the priest do all the killing and the warlock just /follow, but that makes all the looting quests harder with constant switching around.

imo from 65 on you wanna try to run instances only anyways, to get rep, and only grind/quest when you can't find a group. Then when you are 70 you dual box all the nagrand, smv, BE, etc quests to make tons of gold, enough for your epic flying mount.

I'd definitely check out Keyclone and figuring out how to control 2 wow windows with it, eventually once both are 70 you can do 10-15 dailies in 1-2 hours and bank 2000+ gold a week just from them.

Aria - yes, you can enter Sunken Temple at level 35 and the xp starts dropping off around level 55. theres a huge discussion thread on the dual boxing forums on how to maximize the xp gain in it, i haven't done it yet so don't want to give misinfo. I'm happy so far, playing 2-3 hours a day so far just running SFK and getting massive xp without having to do quests.

I got a question for some of you more advanced players out there.. One of the most often things that happens to me while questing/grinding is to get jumped by another player. Now more often then not I have half health and can usually get away as long as its not a druid or frost mage. But even then I might still get away. What I always have trouble with though is rogues. No matter what i do unless I get 99% lucky I die.

So what do you do when your questing along and the following happens.

Rogue shadowsteps cheapshots you... Crippling poison procs..

Assumption 1: Mob has died
Assumption 2: Your somehow at full health/mana
Assumption 3: Rogue and you are equally geared/lvl
Assumption 4: You both have all your cooldowns to use

What do you do if your a Frost Mage? BM Hunter? Enhance Shaman?

If you're that worried about getting jumped by rogues, I suggest questing with your PvP trinket on. There's too many variables to just say "do this strategy and you'll win."

Well most of the time I can't get away from the rogue to do anything. With the exception of the enhance shaman that is and even then he just stun locks me from 100 -> 20% then kicks my heal and I'm as good as dead unless I get a MASSSIVELY LUCKY crit on the single stormstrike I get off.

If I am a frost mage I might be a little luckier with blink/nova or nova/blink but I'm still crippled so he catches up to me in seconds. Fucking cripple pisses me off I can't get any distance ever.

With hunter same thing. Once that cripple procs its over. What else can you do? even if you ice block and get it off once he can shiv and proc it back on so your still fucked. how the fuck do you deal with that.
