Some people are really stupid when it comes to heroic and think you need to be fully epiced in T6 stuff.

No, no don't do that. If a group suggests you can't come you don't want to be in that group anyway. My best PUG experiences have always been groups who care fuck-all what I do because they have full confidence in the ability to easily clear the zone.

Jabber, start out at the easier heroics (Coilfang in GENERAL) then work up to the harder ones.

I only do this with Heroic instances, in particular MGT if:
A. The person has a retarded name
B. Has a majority of blues from a non-70 Instance
C. Is wearing more then 3 pieces of S1 (really if I see a ton of S1 it's an instant kick from the group, I've never grouped with a good player in a lot of S1).
D. Has no purples from a Heroic Instance / non-Kara raid.

I am alliance, I probably wouldn't be this way if I was Horde. But, I've grouped with far too many retarded players that I just don't want to take the risk anymore.

If I am forming a group for Heroic, the person at least has to have gear proving they have done a lot of normal 70 instances- that way I can at least trust them to have the basics of PvE-

I do this for every single PUGie i grab, i have a core group of 3 players that can either do a combo as 1 tank (myself) 2 dps.. 1 has a mage/hunter other has a mage/resto shm for heals.. so we only have to PUG either 2 DPS or 1 Healer 1 DPS.

Ive armoried every single person that asks.. hell i dont recruit a caster unless theyre 1k spell damage, maybe 900 if theyre not gimepd in PVP gear. Melee dps is never recruited unless its a rogue.. Hunters require to be equiped.. in Short.. if people are in pvp shit, or crap blues i ignore them. simple as that, I may seem like a dick, but when you actually run with me we finish heroics in maybe 45 minutes or so easily.

You can tell i have little patience for fuckups and downtime :P

I made the mistake of joining a BM group with some tards last night... biggest waste of an instance lock ever... made me sad-

Ended up just forming a Heroic MGT group and roflstomping the instance in 40 minutes.

I dont even trust people in S3 anymore. had this guildy who is like "yah, dude, my buddy in full S3 can tank heroic MgT for us, we're set" -- I've seen better tanks in non 70 instance blues... I just dont trust a player who's main form of entertainment in WoW is PVP when it comes to PvE ability, at least not when it comes to somethin like warriors wanting to tank. They are by far the most critical component to a successful group to me almost anywhere.

Well see this is the shit I'll have to overcome. I've been 70 for all of 5 days now and so S2 gear is far and away better than anything else I can hope to get, despite points spent on resilience. The mace is 225 damage, and and a lvl 70 blue (Runesong Dagger out of Shattered Halls) is 121. Similar situations are present for other gear as well.

Are you trying to say people in pvp aren't as predictable as mobs?

Every class (every mob has a class) has certain abilities it can use, and therefore is predictable to a certain extent.

The only unpredictability you can count on in pvp is two things:

• when they're going to use a skill
• who they're going to use it on

And even then, some raid bosses have the same unpredictability about them.

Granted, more than a 1v1 and it gets more complicated in pvp. But the same can be said when there's more than one mob in a pull. And obviously this is mostly just the basics, there are several nuances to both the pve and pvp game.
