| In the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope. ~Barack Obama | Druid crawling is right pre 35 and gets much better like he said from 35-60 but the real REAL difference comes about 20 minutes into outlands. For all classes you see DPS and STA upgrades but having leveled a hunter, mage, priest, warlock, warrior, and druid in outlands I must say the biggest shock I had was the druid. Your dps will make you look like a rogue with massive amounts of STA. Your ability to tank just about everything with a minor gear switch is awesome. It is also the most uncomplicated form of tanking period. Mangle -> swipe. Repeat. For other classes I enjoyed good dps boosts also but around 65-67 things started to get a tiny bit harder. Ya not for a druid. Nothing was ever harder it just got easier and easier. As for warlocks you will own but you will get owned by rogues a lot. Sorry your really gankable. If your good though you might own them it all depends on your gear and skill. Once you hit 70 the real fun begins in PvP is what I hear but you might want to ask other lock players about that. Hunters are a joy the minute you get steady shot. Mine is almost 100% PvE though but it is a lot of fun. You will be a PvE lawnmower 100% of the time and a leveling god. I'm considering taking a hunter through WOTLK first since they often go the fastest and easiest the first go around. |

I wasn't lying when I said pretty much any shaman can write a ticket into most any raiding guild. Most raiding guilds will take a dogshit shaman who is able to hotkey stormstrike and totems or just close their eyes and hit chain heal, because the benefit is that great. The only barrier of entry is gear quality, which exists for every single other class in terms of trying to get into a T6 raiding guild, but I've seen it first hand even T6 guilds will gladly feed a shaman their rots as long as they show up, shit totems and hit heroism/bloodlust when told to.

Also.. there are like 09238904832 more things to do at max level which is a nice change. Pre BC raiding was about it for cap level activities.

| Registered User | Hunters still are pretty good in pvp if specc'd right. Though I wouldn't say they are the lawnmowers they once were. Though I want to get the magina night elves in the crotch everytime one of them pulls the stupid snake trap glitch on lowbies :P

| He asked if they were still nerfing other specs and shoehorning into resto. The answer is yes, and if you don't think that's true, then you haven't been playing an elemental shaman. Period. Every fucking patch has at least one elemental nerf since 2.0 hit. Go ahead and look if you don't believe me. Itemization still sucks for non-resto too. Elemental is a fucking joke still, with maybe one full set of gear outside of tier gear in the entire expansion, and enhancement may have gotten buffed a lot recently, but they're still wearing 90% hunter gear (again, outside of tier gear). I'm not saying to not play, and I'm not saying don't play a shaman, but don't fucking delude the guy into thinking anything has changed about how Blizz thinks shamans should work. They want us to all be resto so all the druids can be tanks, all the pallies can be dps, and all the priests can smash their faces on the keyboard, roll around a bit while shouting "pewpew!". edit: oh, ok, fine, I'll concede one point. Shamans can be good healers. woop de doo

| Except you are wrong. I would kill to have one more competent Enh. Shaman on our raids. We have one who is worth a fuck and when he is gone our raid melee DPS is asstastic.

I'd have to agree with Twobit, enhancement is pretty well off right now, in PVE anyway. Who cares if you have to wear leather, if you need armor as a shaman someone in your raid is doing something wrong.

| ::sigh:: Yeah, ok, windfury and heroism = shitload of dps. I never said shamans are worthless. I said elemental shamans are nerfed every patch and enhancement shamans wear hunter gear.
