+1 Internets | You won't really catch up, but if you enjoy PVP then I think you'll have fun at least. If you're planning to play a different class in the expansion then now is really the time to get it to 70.

| I've more or less caught up to Tier 5 gear within a month of hitting 70... (I hit it early May.) I can now easily tank Tier 4 and have started tanking Tier 5 content /shrug. I think it's doable- you just need to waste more of your life doing PvE then youd probably like.

| With enough badges any class can jump right into BT/Hyjal.

| WotLK "soon" is a matter of perspective. I will be very surprised if it hits stores before late november/early december. Alts won't last you until then. I'd figure out what you want to play the most and just level that up and start gearing it. You probably won't see the end of sunwell starting from scratch at this point (maybe as a resto shaman), but you'll have no issues seeing all of BT/MH. Tons of guilds clear that and that tier of guilds have massive member turnover. SSC/TK is harder to see simply because pretty much the only reason to raid it is for kicks. |

+2 Internets | Tank : Karazhan is the quick way to get a tank geared. Pretty much every boss drops a piece of tank gear and on top of it you need an asshload of badges. Once you've done your weekly Kara, run heroics for more badges. There's no way around it, tank gear comes from PVE content, the only exception being protadins which have to get a pvp weapon asap once they hit 70. Engineering goggles are pretty badass btw. Dps : Pvp. Supplement with badge runs. |

Though honestly the stats you spit out didn't sound like a we should be in a BT/MH clearing guild. Sounds about right for a MH/BT starting guild. If you're really leaving your current guild because you just want to jump right to farm status and not work for it... I HATE YOU. | |

| Well good guilds recruit the majority of their players from somewhat lesser raiding guilds, especially when attunements are concerned. The issue goes both ways and those lesser guilds are effectively involved in human resources PvP along with PvE. Things like "must be BT/Hyjal attuned" to apply just shits on lesser guilds. Furthermore, most somewhat decent guilds are somewhat decent because there are two few good players to uplift the whiny medicore cunts. I am totally cool with them getting out of those circle jerks and into a competent raid. I've always advised against packages because they invariably want to raid together. Often they want to be grouped together, and concern for one another diminishes their performance in the raid when they are together. It is too often a losing situation for the guild that takes them in. What's worse though is when a guild takes on a package, agreeing to the package's ruleset of being together, and then chafes at the package requiring those rules be adhered to. "Look man, we're 1 man/woman down and we need you, but not your girl/boy" "No, both or none" "That's unreasonable" A succession of this event causes bad feelings on everyone's part, ends with the package being dismissed and the leadership being sullied. If you're an advanced enough guild, you have people knocking at your door several times a week. You don't need packages. Leave them to create their cults of personality amongst the lesser guilds and thus help pressure the competent players upwards. |

+1 Internets | Having run a guild and been in 3-4 who were near bleeding edge, I find package deals only work when the people live together. A husband / wife team are great as long as they're both good players, plus they always play their partners characters when needed to. However, when it's like an "internet couple" it always ends in drama. People will constantly flirt with the girl, the guy gets pissed off, she sends someone a picture and you get about three weeks of drama before you eventually lose two geared raid chars to a rival guild. That's not the worst though in my opinion. Cliques are definetly worse than package deals, and every single guild will have them. Most cliques in the same guild tend to hate each other, and there's always one or two people that'll say really vicious shit to get a few Channel4:SUPERFRIENDS; 'lol' responses. Even been in a guild where a clique practically ran the guild. Got a bit off track there, but basically I'd get them to fill out two seperate applications and if one is great and the other sucks deny both. If you take the good one and leave the other they'll just find a backdoor eventually anyways so you end up taking in a shit player to keep a good one.
