+53 Internets | Rogue is more fun and rewarding in PvP honestly, especially once geared. In fact, if you're like most people and get a hardon when you think about the guy you just ganked getting pissed off there's little better. Only reason to play a hunter is so you can hit one button and be top 5 dps in raids. |

| Hunters are terrible now IMO. They get wasted in the arenas from what I've experienced playing my resto druid, and in the battlegrounds the games are so quick that they can't really get a groove going. I would stick with the Rogue, they are way overpowered in PVP..

+53 Internets | Hunter's aren't ~too~ shabby in AV where you can stand back and just pick off casters at will and you have a lot of room to kite. They're pretty good in lower level WSG. Other then that though, the rogue just simply outclasses them in every way possible. A twinked to the gills rogue is pretty much unstoppable in every BG bracket. |

| AV's from what I've seen last about 10 min..its so retarded. Everyone just rushes the RH on both sides and then its over. When I quit Av's used to take a day to complete lol

| If all else fails, just sapping people over and over again, multiple people, until it doesn't work anymore, then doing it again when they respawn is great, great fun in WSG. Especially if you just pick on the same one or two people. You get people to spam shouts, spam emotes, create a level 1 character to send you hate tells, try to take alternate routes across the map, etc. |

+53 Internets | If you get a solid group together, playing defensively is -wicked- amounts of fun in AV. Take a solid arena 5-man or something and just watch as wave after wave of 15~30 alliance crash against you and die over and over again. |

| I have recently rerolled on another server/battlegroup and changed factions (FOR THE HORDE!). I saw something today I had never seen before. Now, granted, on my Alliance char, I rarely pvp'd. So I'm sure this is nothing new to the long-time PvP'ers here, but I had never personally witnessed this before. EotS pops this morning and it starts out with Horde having 9, Alliance having 10. Both sides are down people, but it's still rather even. The Alliance didn't score a point. The game ended 2000-0. We took all 4 towers almost immediately and never gave them up. I am shocked how that is even possible. I mean, I was there, I helped do this, but even I don't understand how it happened. I bow to the coordination Horde shows at times. (I have also been on the wrong side of 3-0 beat down in WSG playing Horde too, so I've seen the incompetence of the Horde also) |

| I really has nothing to do with horde versus alliance anymore, and more to do with how the honor system is setup when you are doing pugs. I take my set group of full s3 alliance peeps into any battleground, and we will routinely pitch a shutout. Cap everything in AB = check Cap everything in EOTS and run flags= check 3 cap WSG = check People just dont care anymore, and want a fast lost. Zehn I've never seen that in AV honestly ,and I'm capped in honor with everything you can buy. Only time AV slows down is when Alliance or Horde forces a bottleneck to do HK farming..but thats about it. Now I've played Guild AV games and there good.

| 2 well geared Rogues working together are pretty much death.. I have no problem with Locks, but fuggin 2 rogues are crazy in any pvp instance. Footnote* I would love to see a new battleground that had mounted combat ,both in the air and on land. Something Huge like a Warhawk board with bitchin Castles nad Siege Equipment.Man that would be so cool.

| I like to take back what I said about hunters. Over the weekend I was in a brand new 2vs2 with a hunter and were already at 1780. I'm just so use to seeing them on the otherside and them getting destroyed.

| About hunters in general, is that while clicking your abilties, keyboard turning, and backpeddling is a big no-no for ANY class in pvp, some can "get away" with it more than others. If you do any of those things as a hunter, it fucking ruins you. You HAVE to regularly jump, spin midair, and shoot, and then keep moving in the direction you were going. Every yard of distance counts, because it makes the difference between whether you get any damage off or get humped in the face again. That's why "Joe Hunter" often struggles in arena. Even if he posts on the forums acknowledging all of the above, chances are he still probably commits those mistakes all the time. He can't adjust to a better control setup, or maybe doesn't want to. Either way. It's hard enough as it is these days to get away from melee even if you're a good player, but if you aren't, then forget it, you won't be getting anyway from anybody and you'll get melted. Meanwhile, once you get past that, a different set of issues pops up. Hunters don't have spammable CC. The CC they do have has an insane amount of strings attached. Their healing debuff is very difficult to apply with any sort of consistency, and resets the auto shot timer anyway. Steady shot has no pushback protection whatsoever. Hunters do GREAT damage,(some might even say they do too much) IF they're free to sit there cycling shots on somebody, which in arena pretty much never happens against a competent team, making their damage on the weak side. So what gives? Basically hunters have 2 amazing abilities: frost trap and viper sting. This is what gives them any viability whatsoever in top end arena right now, and it pigeonholes them into very specific team compositions centered around outlasting the other team's mana. Not everyone grasps this, or if they do, they often don't want to play that style. It does suck having long games every game. I'll cut myself off here since I'm rambling but basically all of the above is why hunter representation in arena is lower than it should be and is why hunters are generally considered on the weak side. I wouldn't be surprised if more hunter buffs are coming down the pike because of those representation numbers. |
