What are you a Sociology major or something? What are you going to do with a degree like that? Live in Africa studying the indigenous peoples? Look, this is what you write for your paper. "Peoples of the world suck. America is the greatest country ever. The end." Get it? Got it? Good. Now log your ass on.

Lately it's been solid, up until yesterday. GTA4 and AoC have taken many a bored MMOer away from poor ole VG. It'll be back up soon though, as people beat GTA4 and realize that AoC blows, or at least hit the pitiful level 13 cap. I say roll any and all classes that sound interesting. I think it took me almost exactly 5 hours to hit 13, which is just when I happened to think to /played. You'll get a very solid feel for the class by lvl 20 or so, but even by 10 you'll be playing a fairly accurate version of your class as it'll feel throughout the levels. Shaman get to choose their totem at 15, which makes a pretty big difference; clerics choose affinity at 20, which makes much less of a difference, but still some; monks get to choose their shit sometime around then I imagine...not sure. Bards get mez at 16 I think. DK's get an AE lifetap around there too. Just some examples of how you'll get some pretty important/effective abilities 'round those levels.

Yeah I went from BM to PSI and loving the class. I suggest shaman if you have any interest of being a healer. We do need Warriors though not Paladins or DK's. Play whatever is interesting though cause there is always room for any class really. Necro for some reason is rare these days. As far as AoC beta, yeah I can see myself bored with it by Sat afternoon. | |

Definitely. Harvesting is the only way I've found to make money really. Mining and skinning seem to be the most profitable. Mining because the rares sell for the most of any resource type and skinning because so many classes wear medium armor. Also, skinning ultra-rares seem a lot more common than other resource type URs.

Going roll a bard when my box comes in. What sort of professions/harvesting should I take up if I want to craft armor? Having hell of a time finding any decent info later then launch bashing on the web.
