So, I guess the million dollar question is (from someone without brown colored glasses)....is Vanguard worth it in the long run? Is there significant content yet for maxed out characters to do like WoW?

Last I played was beta, and the game was a mess then so I've been pretty hesitant to sub and give it a second chance, and it sounds like the lag and technical problems still exist. I'm typically a one woman man with MMOs, so I don't want to get a bunch of time invested if the game will just be disappointing.

Seeing as how you were in Legacy of Steel(thats fucking hardcore for those that don't know) The end game content is seriously lacking in comparison to any mmo that has been out a while. You will be bored with it in a few weeks after hitting 50. Unless you have interest in crafting and diplomacy which can take as long if not longer to level up.

Yeah it is really annoying names are so long. Should be a filter to only show first and last or something. Either on or off is the only option.

I don't know, man. I haven't been to it myself yet, but I hear APW is a pretty cool raid dungeon. Unfortunately, it's also the only raid dungeon. So depends how fast you'd chew through that content I guess.

There is an option to do this hidden in a configuration file (vanguard.ini I think). Its in that 'tweak Vanguard' guide.
