I'm attaching two pictures (large, so sorry) to prove my point. You guys try to argue with me why we needed queer bug mounts instead of a fix to Downsy McDwarfman over there when badass mounts like this are already in game. And for non-VG players, which of these makes you say HEY THAT GAME LOOKS COOL and which makes you say LOL U STILL PLAY VG???

I don't really get your point. That's a stupid helm design, yes, but I'd rather have them working on a lobster mount, which might be the greatest idea in any MMO ever, than fixing one crappy helm design, or even ten crappy helm designs.

Putting in neat new shit should take a backseat to fixing existing things, yes, but only fixing things that matter, not nitpicky little bullshit like a helm clipping an overly fluffy beard when you could've just picked a less stupid-looking beard at chargen anyway.

I have once or twice, but both times its had to do with a VERY weird graphical glitch...Both times it also happened while I was relogging to fix the glitch (10 seconds left to camp, BAM, crash)

Considering how long it took to get helm graphics in the first place I doubt they're going to fix how gay some of them look any time soon.

That helm generates at LEAST 1,200 hate on it's own.

Well, all this talk about Vanguard is kinda givin me an itch to resub... But I have a few questions for the people who are playing.

I was one of the first to hit 50, way back in March of 07, so my gear is completely outdated, and not too good since there really wasn't any good high level gear back then. I think I'm wearing the set of armor you get from Marsh of Peril, the class specific ancient elven stuff you have to create. Is this going to suck? Should I reroll or try to pick up where I left off on my sorcerer?

If I do stick with my sorcerer, is there any higher level content I could go through solo to get my bearings again? Also, I was gone throughout the server merges, so I'm also not sure which server my character ended up on, I was originally from Shidreth.

Looking forward to possibly getting back into the game, I'm so bored right now.
