Aaaand some artists need to add grime to stuff to make rocks and shit not look so pristine. I can think of some other things, but get the hitching fixed first.

| the Ninjarr | Lol, no, its certainly not that bad. But the issue is they need to offer a minimalistic UI that has snapping. What I mean is, throw out all the excess artwork, make all windows resizable (not scalable, resizable) and add a snapping grid. The default UI should be as simple and CONCISE as possible in order to get the player as immersed as possible in the game and not the text. |

| What I find sad is that it is a hunter. He can't cure, heal, or taunt. His responsibility in the raid is dogshit unless he's kiting. He doesn't need that much crap on his screen. I like WoW's approach to UI, especially since they've pulled back from letting the UI play for you. You have the choice to be minimalist or not and anything inbetween. Keep the interaction on a leash, but embracing mods is a good thing. Blizzard has even integrated the basics of some very popular mods to the overall improvement of the game. Most WoW mods don't facilitate snapping, but hotbar mods often do these days, and I couldn't stand losing that. It's very convenient in EVE too. For me the most important thing about UI is centrallizing the core aspects of your class. I like health bars to be around the mid-level, not in a corner in the top-left. I like my hotbars to be just under them. I can watch the fight, watch the environment, watch my health, and watch my actions for cooldowns to let up. All without moving my eyes. It improves my response time and situational awareness. I fucking despise the default layout of my health bars and hotbars being in seperate places and removed from the center of my vision. It's like visual ergonomics or something. Fighter pilots figured this shit out a while back with their HUDs and such. |

| Why would a hunter ever have Omen up?

| I took a picture of my UI with absolutely everything up, including gigantor font SCT, back when I was only running 1280x1024 resolution. The clusterfuck is unimaginable.

| Why would there be a discussion of hunters in VG? * * * Some questions are unaswerable ;-) And for the record. I know a few VG Paladins who are pissed off over the racial mounts. They've been waiting for their holy steed for year+
