No, it is hilarious, and it makes for a great story, but it also makes for an ability I will now only use in cases where I would potentially die anyway. Death by RNG is pretty high on my list of MMO pet peeves, especially if it comes while soloing deep in some dungeon.

No ... this is mainly for trial accounts, hopefuly they'll bring in more full access accounts since almost all the old buddy keys are gone now, this will be the only way to try out VG before buying.

My psi is almost 20, and I use almost exclusively Thought Pulse since I use my disc to keep a HoT on him, and I have yet to kill myself or come even close. You must have been EXTREMLY unlucky. Still funny though ^^.

On a side note, Chaos Volley(the sorc spell that does roughly the same thing) and Thought Pulse are getting changes next patch to make them more easy to use.

Dinged 15 tonight. I plan on starting the HL quests Friday evening.

I am completely out of quests for the first time since I started. I'm in the Tahean's area and I completed all the quests I could find. I am surprised that I never got any quests for the Heroes Vault area. So, I figure the best thing to do is start the HL quests.

The HL quests are great.. we went 19-21 just getting the zombie flesh for one part

The thing about the Trial Island is that it will be a pretty good representation of where future VG will land. How the current development team handles new content is very important, and seeing how they deal with the delicate aspect of introducing new players to the game will tell a lot about their overall ability as a team to improve the game.

Any notes on the changes? Clicking a button was too advanced? I can't fathom any change that would make it more easy to use, for obvious reasons.

It's been said that someone killed themself because they crit'd on a spell/ability that, in addition to doing damage to his/her target, also did damage to his/herself. I believe that they were referring to the fact that, unlike your inference that clicking a button is without consquence, they actually had to decide whether to click that button because the clicking of that button may injure or kill their character. Now, I suppose that you could argue whether or not that type of input is more or less advanced than the typical MMO has to offer but, honestly, it'll be a while before anyone here actually gives a shit about what you think.

I've yet to put you on ignore because your jackassery is amusing but seriously, it was very apparent what Pyros was referring to, assuming you knew anything about the game. Do yourself a favor and shut the fuck up already.

I remember leveling with a sorc early last year. Hearing him going nuts as monster chaos volleys went off was awesome fun. Sure he killed himself half the time, but its definately one of the coolest parts or the class. Hope they dont mess with it too much.

I had a question about Disciples...

My friend is playing a disc and he put on some knuckles to get up the skill. When he was wielding the knuckles his reactionary abilities would never highlight showing that they are usable. Can discs only use martial staves for some of their abilities or something, or was this just a bug?
