| Just hit 50 on my warrior Tkon, currently w/ Kc's guild. This game has just improved so much. I really do enjoy tanking. I'll be raiding here soon and hopefully don't suck -.-. I hope I enjoy the raid content as much as I've enjoyed the leveling content. |

| I know people hate AA for whatever reason, but EQ and FFXI (merits) are two games that had "shit to do" after max level. You can call it a grind fest all you want, but in the end beefing up your character is always fun. I'm working on the evil incarnate quest for me and my cleric friend, it's pretty interesting so far. I don't care where they tell me to go or what to grind off of, I just want to be a f'n skeleton~ |

| I have too been a bit disappointed with the rather combative nature of most folks in game. IE "Go back to wow if you don't like it" there is the definite idea that Vanguard is for only elite gamers or whatever. Personally I haven't found many of the encounters to be all that challenging. Maybe I haven't been doing level appropriate stuff, but in WoW and EQ a dungeon group definitely didn't have nearly as many outs incase something goes bad. All of that being said I am still having a blast. Regarding groups, I really don't know what to say. It is alot like most MMO's, if I ever wanted something done I had to make the group. Not really a big deal, but once I get a group together, there is definitely a tendency to stay together, maybe thats a result of the difficulty to get good groups. I am definitely happier with the overall quality of people that I meet up for a group though and will often stay in a group for 2 or 3 hours once it gets going good. My biggest gripe right now is how everything is faction based, for example right now, doing swamp armor you have an option to go for three flavors of gear however every flavor has its own faction based set that to get one you potentially ruin the others. Not to mention there aren't many healers that go after the offensive fighter flavor of gear. Thats a pretty petty gripe imho though as I am having tons of fun doing all sorts of different quests and grouping fairly regularly. What is nice though that while I am grouping I can be in the same area that a group is needed for and if I am smart I can solo for armor drops while waiting on a group to get going. Try seradon if you are looking for groups in the 10-15 range, last night I saw people spamming for that range constantly. (Well maybe 20ish, not positive) |

So no mounts for me, well till griff which I am about to start because the gear from that is pretty sexy in its own right. Not to mention flying around is pretty pimptastic. | |

| Clerics, BM's, and Shaman can MH a ToT group (lev 50 dungeon) pretty easily. DSC's not so much unless they're geared really well maybe. They are kinda like an added bonus dps+some group heals and nice buffs thrown in. imho clerics are way overpowered healwise. Shaman probably is the most balanced heal class i canthink of and BM's straight up own. Wait until you burn Vicus down from 70% to 20% in about 15 seconds with jolt popped - bm's ftw. | I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere, but search fails me. I'm actually thinking of starting up and was wondering what the most self sufficient class is? I'm thinking like EQ1 bard or necro where they could take care of themselves and solo godly things that no one else could touch without a group/raid. Any ideas? |

| Ya necro's are nice even in groups. They bring some CC to the table if on the right mobs, and also meat is really nice for melee or every one on AE intensive fights. Good dps of course and can turn mobs undead for those gd paladins -.- Sorry Knights just make me(Warrior) mad atm, not their fault. |
