[VG] The Current State of Vanguard

Logged in to test, definitely running substantially better despite the additional shadows. Shader compiler seems to be helping a lot.

You can tell it's a VG screenshot, there's no-one in it.

Token shot aside, has there been any new content leaked at all? New raid zones on the horizon, introduction of any new content whatsoever as opposed to fixing the existing stuff.

So had a surprise today... I hadn't bothered crafting anything since I re-started.

Made an item I hadn't made before...and gained 4 crafting levels at once.

I'm guessing they changed the curve a *wee* bit and I had a lot of extra xp...

Least that gives me some incentive to get the last couple levels for 50 finally.

So I've resub'd and I've been having a blast on my warrior. Easily my favorite tank class in any mmo. I know VG has a lot of flaws, but as others have said about blood mages, whoever did these classes really know how to make an interesting combat system while not over complicating it too much. I look atrocious w/ most of my animations doing it, but hopefully that will change over time. So far I'm 44 and I got a few irl friends playing too now. They play as a 50 bm, 41 cleric, and a 41 druid. We're moving from Xeth to Seradon~ Looking forward to good times <3 My name is Tkon, so after today I should be on the Seradon~

Check the games MOTD when you login, essentially, login on a character you want to move, /petition and state character names and the server you want to move them to. There is a move today and another next week if I recall.

Cool will move my BM to Xeth As a community though we should go on the offcial boards and all move to one or two servers. That would get the population up a bit.

I can remember exploring and ran in to a House out in the middle of no where near a mountain ridge line. I went to explore it and found it had a basement. Once in the basement I found a tunnel that looked like some one dug it. It lead pretty deep under the mountains into a valley. There was nothing in the Valley and I could not find anything. Future content maybe or a quest I know nothing about? In fact I tried to find it again and have been unsuccessful.

VG is cool and I love how HUGE it is. When you travel, it really feels like you are going a significant distance.

I think I've seen that, it was entrance for a dungeon, but they never finished it. Some of these entrances are locked but you can still find them if you keep jumping until you get through geometry(or could before).

Sounds just like the entrance to The Cave of Wonders. Four buildings with no mobs in them, floor panel in the basement of one of them moves when clicked on which leads to a cave. Cave ends in a valley. Other end of valey is a door you need a key for. However can fall through world in the valey, walk under and past door, then play around and pop up inside. Inside it looks like this:

Wasn't Halcyon Affinity a pretty decent guild from EQ2? I remember playing with some in VG beta, they were lower level than us but were mostly good players.
