It's no problem mang. I haven't ever read any official statements regarding it and I doubt if anything will ever come down the pipe to address it. Though I could be completely wrong on this, as I stopped following VG news updates for a while after release. It's annoying as all fuck though. All this long distance viewing and shit and they couldn't even get the models to load a quarter of distance you can see. Makes me sad.

Cause there are literally hundreds of similar stupid things to choose from to fix. Floating trees, rocks, buildings, NPCs all over. The fact it draws you in facing east and resets your viewpoint to 1st person everytime you enter an area by means other than travelling normally. Attacks that show doing billions in damage on screen. Messed up text shown front and center whenever a druid learns a new pheno point ability. When players put color markers in chat text the length stays the same as if all the junk was there leading to blank lines in chat due to wrap around. And on and on.

I'm assuming this is the popping issue? I always understood it to be a quick fix for performance (as there are objects/mobs that have longer ranges than the 50m). It is completely annoying but perhaps the perf fixes in GU5 will allow SOE to put the pop-in distance on a slider.

I wouldn't hold my breath though.

Ok I am back in on Xeth. I have my Druid.. But when I was doing a lot of dungeon running I used to run with a Disciple. They were pretty bad ass before the patch when APW came out. Whats the deal on them now?

Good DPS/healing still?

Still a great class, the whole combo to heal thing gives them great surviability. Don't expect them to own like they use to but they aren't broken anymore either.

So apparently they're putting environmental shadows back in game. Credits to vosen for the heads up (who cannot post, so if someone wants to hook a brotha up).

Good testament to the content in vg = I am a 50 psi and i have no clue where those screenies were taken lol. I guess I need to explore some more

Easily missed if you're not playing a Thestran human (or halfling), I only recognized it because I stopped by there a couple times when I was leveling up in Trengal Keep.

(Of course, it's been over a year since I played, I could be wrong.)
