Once your to this point your pretty much fucked, I think most of us here are in some crazy denial that will ever get that EQ feeling again. That said will all keep playing the new shit till one of them perhaps does it the irony....

I was expecting it to last at least a month, honestly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, we had a few fairly static groups going, etc. I certainly didn't expect everyone to drop off the face of the earth overnight.

I don't see why everyone is up in arms about this. Was it a surprise that people would be playing GTA4 and AoC instead for a bit? The fact is AoC sucks and GTA4 is beatable. People are coming back like you said everyone was enjoying themselves.
