| The video was linked previously. That's the same recycled siege footage from months ago. I'll believe it's in when I see it. I hope it is, but I've learned not to hold my breath.

+75 Internets | So eight sieges can be active at one time? What is the number of keep-slots on one server? If it's anything that low I don't see that large an impact on the priority thing. What's better, having to do instanced PVP and gain credibility, or farm a bunch of money to drop a bane-stone? |

| From what I understand, 8 Battlekeeps per server. These are separate from the crafting "villages" that any guild can create that will function much like guildhalls. There is no limit on those, thankfully. I'm not sure what the big advantage is going to be to owning one of the 8 Battlekeeps other than bragging rights and notoriety. |

| The Battlekeeps can be 'upgraded' from tier one to three.. supposedly offering bonuses to guilds. No word on what they are. The regular cities can also provide bonuses, I guess PvP keeps offer slightly more.

^ Age Of Conan: Hyborian Adventures I watched a video awhile back that said that holding the keep for a certain amount of time will grant bonuses and the bonuses will be changed/updated every month or so(giving good reason to hold a keep). I think they gave some examples but I'm not 100% sure.

| Has anyone been able to update the open beta client? I can run the patcher for the Tech Test client fine, but so far, I only get a "fatal error" message when the open beta client tries to find the patch server. |

| Keep in mind mini PVP games give PVP experience, so in many ways AOC is turning into WoW - smart players will do premade CTFs (even shittier than WSG after the initial 4-5 hours of novelty), curbstomp pugs, get 0 deaths and lots of kills, and just shoot up the PVP level grind. And of course playing a healer is gonna suck balls in PVP, since you always get targeted first. Lots of crashes in current client as well, I crashed 2 times last nite in an hour and saw similar reports from other testers. If you plan on playing the game at launch I really recommend getting into the FP open beta to make sure your PC can run the game without constant crashing (mines not too bad, some people are saying they crash every 2-3 minutes). Balance is really fucked now. They are hitting the same problems WoW hit in TBC, in that ranged (casters) are scaling much better than melee with gear. 2-3 mages (demonologists) can nuke a much larger group of melee players without getting touched. What also sucks is that AoC is apparently becoming a gear intensive game at endcap, the only real way to counter caster pwnage is to craft resist gear at 80, and even then its questionable how much benefit it really provides. |

The only time I crashed during my 3 day playtime was due to the memory leak that Funcom clearly states is an issue when you start the beta and that they are working on it. Otherwise it ran like a charm on my system.
