Miracle builds don't exist...I doubt even AoC devs are going to wave the magic unicorn wand and make it happen right before launch. Sure they may put out a whole new client with a ton of fixes but with every "new" fix there is a chance of other stuff breaking. When they get to the tweaking stage I will be happy.

The only problem with the magical AoC secret build is that it apparently never gets patched to beta. If beta is even just 1 month behind it then shouldn't general beta have gotten some of that internal goodness? Why is it not filtering down? Why is it not being tested? Simple reason: it doesn't exist.

Game looks good enough art wise for me, performance seems to be decent and the promises are huge.
I never took the chance with Vanguard cause I hated the look and feel, but AoC appears good to me, so I pre-ordered and will be giving it a fair shot.

Can't wait to see this game flesh out and evolve

Of course they do ! Take sb for example, they claimed to have a patch that fixed alot of issue that wouldn't go on the beta server. Of course when players bitched they put it on the beta server a week before release and people noticed that it actually broke more things to then it fixed but thats besides the point.

I was in the AO beta for a long time. Many, many fanboi's talked about the magic patch they were holding back for some unknown reason. As we got closer and closer to release people started getting nasty defending the magic patch as more and more testers started to see through the total bullshit lie.

Once we hit release it was very obvious there was no magic patch.

Why does history repeat itself?
