Demonologist isn't a pet class, the demon is just like a killable buff, that also uses some very crappy dmg spell(well not too bad at very low lvl). Think of the Dark Elf dragon from vanguard, it's about the same crap really, only that once it dies you lose the buff. On most points, fucking worthless.

Necro suffer a lot of very heavy issues. They were on the list to get a revamp, and got only half of it, and inbetween they started getting ready for release and shit, so there's been no balance/content patches since then. Their dots are too weak, the pets have too low hp(you can one shot the whole of them with a good AE) and do too few dmg, and if your opponent happens to be a mage type, or a group with a mage, the absorb shield will pretty much negate all your dmg because it's crappily bugged and say it's a 50dmg absorb, it absorbs 50dmg out of every dot tick. When the pets hit for like 60, you can see the issue. Their AEs are too small and they're pretty weak defensively(less so than demons though).

Overall I'd say both classes are somewhat not very good, demon is excelent for pvp at low level, and excelent for pve even at high lvls, but necro seems to be overall suckage. Again I base my descriptions and opinions on the closed beta boards, the only board that looks as grim as necro one is ranger one. Oh and conqueror ones. Those 3 classes, they seem to be the 3 worse classes in the game, and I wouldn't bother playing them at release until they got all the stability shit done and start balancing classes again, which might take a few weeks, or months.

I'm confused, is there a reason to keep the current client and not delete it to free up space? Mine doesn't even load any more; since this morning, after I click Play on the launcher, my disk thrashes a bit and then stops, the game never actually loads. It's like it's begging me to delete it.

On a side note, the closed beta servers are quite fucked currently. They're randomly locking some chars out of the game, then you can't log them back in. Also get kicked back to char screen randomly.

Hopefully this is because they're testing shit before launch, cause it's pretty bad.

And I wanted to test some feats more precisely to decide how to use my points, damn them. Guess I'll go back to GTAIV for now

Well, according to this map, there's 2 raid zones in the game at the moment. I don't know how old or how accurate it is though.

A friend in the semi-internal raiding group leaked that there's 1 or 2 good boss encounters atm, and a number of others but they all suck ass.

Well i'm most likely going Bear Shaman.

PvE wise i cant give you much information since i'v only had one Day at lvl 20 and i was more concentrated on fending off the gankers

On a PvP level i'd say they are decent.. the thing is.. dont even try to heal yoruself during a 1 vs 1 battle (Not at that level anyway, i cant comment on later levels) and concentrate on combos (+ the heal proc activation).

A rather nice Class and the only Cimmerian "caster" type, thats why i'm picking it.
