If there's a server list out, is there any particular server the FoH community is gravitating toward?

The problem with pom balance is, you have to take into account bugged skills, especially the stacking shit. But yeah for solo pve leveling, pom is probably very close to the higher spot, with demo(I think demo might be over it, their AEs are simply insane, as long as the pom isn't stack bugged) and tos. I'd say demo > pom > tos > rest in various order, simply because these classes have the most efficient AE. I'm not sure about necro.

Hopefully they don't balance the classes over solo leveling experience though. You lose quite a lot of dps when you're not getting hit as a pom(have to run around since all the AEs are pointblank, don't get mana regen from getting hit), and for pvp they're still cloth user with worse CC than the ToS pretty much.

I know I'm going to hit up the FFA PvP server when they release the game

They're voting for server names now. Tuco mentioned he may try and coordinate something regarding fohguild forum goers playing on the same server.

Is it the open beta client that dies after compacting the database?

It sure did wonders for MY performance, less stutters and faster load times.

PS: There's a verify database button in there too.

Performance is way better after the patch for me as well. The game is actually playable now. However, after about an hour playing I get an error which takes focus from the window to show a dialog box, but I can continue playing. On top of that, randomly while playing I suddenly won't be able to walk on any structures like bridges or ramps until I completely close the game and restart it again.

Other than that, my leveling seems to have gotten way slower after hitting 16. I've completed probably 5-7 yellow quests and killed tons of mobs around my level and only gained about 60% of my level. It's starting to wear thin at this point.

Just do every quest, color is only difficulty, you still get full xp for grey quests. It's much easier to go do all the quests in a zone at once, grey green yellow and orange(reds are usually too tough), and turn them all in. Haven't found it an issue to hit lvl 20 before leaving tortage, and actually I haven't even bothered completing all of it, could probably have hit 21.

I'm currently trying to find a way to hit 20 in night time only though, I've found a few loopholes during the destiny quests(mostly perma respawning mobs) but it's not too easy. Will be useful on live to avoid retards camping white sands island entrance though. At least you can enter sewers from 2 places.

Ya, I don't know what it was, but it picked back up again. I got to 18 pretty quickly. Also noticed that the error I'm getting is exactly what's causing the structures bug, where I can only walk on the ground and nothing else. It seems to only happen when I zone into Tortage.

I'm already helping to organize a guild for a FFA PvP server. Consists of a group of mature veteran WoW raiders, of which most I've ran with for quite some time in the past.

We have a temp website up, and a permanent domain is being created by our webmasters to facilitate a bigger organization. I'll put down some info shortly. I'd personally love to get a larger scale coordination together for the upcoming PvP servers, so let me know if anybody else is interested in working alongside us.

Has anyone else been in the Underhalls and have the lighting mess up? I zoned in and the area looked lit up normally, take a few steps and then everyone turned pitch black (though I could see torches that gave off no light radius. Then I would move further in and the room(s) would light up normally, but the mobs and my character where just black models.

I'm liking the game so far, but only in 1-2h chunks.

Unfortunately, my gaming habits tend to a few 4h+ days a week rather than 1-2h each day, at which point SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM... well, I quit my Bard in EQ1 for a reason

I got an assertion error in there due to lighting so I think the area is just borked. I was getting 130fps though!

Logged in quickly this morning just to test performance after the patch and I was sitting idle at around 98fps whereas before the highest I'd managed was 64fps.

I was only in game for a few minutes though so didn't really have a chance to run around.

I haven't heard of anyone planning to make an FoH (either the guild or the forum community) guild, and I think (Not speaking for them ) FoH the guild is happy in WoW like the rest of your friends!

I'm going to be rolling with my old hardcore PVP buddies from UO, DAoC, SB etc rather than trying to make an FoH guild. We're an old guild with a lot of accomplishments, a lot of friends and a whole lot of enemies. Of all the guilds I've been with in the last decade, this is by far the best in terms of maturity, organization and professionalism. We're not for everyone though. We're a strictly PVP-centered guild with very little interest in PVE. We see PVE as a means to an end rather than the point of the game and try to avoid it as much as we can without gimping ourselves.

We're not recruiting, we already have a solid team together. But if you like to PVP, aren't a douchebag, can follow orders ingame and are decently skilled, check us out at:

The Professionals (PRX)

A few people on FoH are applying atm, so unless someone makes a guild for FoH this might be the closest thing we get to an FoH guild. Like I said before, we're going FFA-PVP, are coordinated with other guilds and haven't decided on a server yet of course.

The game "worked" on this comp before so no idea what is wrong.
