Heh yeah. That is hopefully the biggest redeeming factor in regards to how many idiots are going to be playing this game. I was tempted to go RP-PVP for a maybe added level of maturity but none of my friends are buying it. Hope the ignore list is huge.

I thought you meant hunt them down and kill them literally, and I laughed and thought "i wish". Then I realized you mean in game and I suddenly want to buy the game a whole lot more.

Well fileplanet is about as useless as a pug.

Day 3, 0% downloaded because the download manager keeps on resetting, and it kept dropping my download when I was just using browser file save.

I'm Enjoying the game so far, if not just for not being WoW.


Downloading/installing wasnt a big deal. Upon first luanching the game , i got the black screen, had to change windowed in the config file , then change it back ingame, and re-launch, wroked fine after. Once I set affinity to 1 core i rarely stutter or clip. My main gripes atm preformance wise are:

A) Loading, of course its not near what alot of people are claimin. Mostly its around 10 seconds to 1 minute. The minute going into tortage day. Granted Loading gets annoying, but something i can look past if the times are low and the only long load times should be into a heavyily rendered area

B) The random ass errors I get . 99% of them are "Brtreesk cannot load , might be out of memory" or something to that nature. These I can about 4-5 times a play session, and If I attempt to continue most of the time I get that bugg where you cant cross bridges, your character just walks through them like they dont exist and you fall below.

If B can be fixed to some extent, I can deal with A in moderation.No game has ever been lauched flawlessly, WoW had its issues in beta/post luanch, granted not as many as some games, but they were there and they made the game not playable.


Gameplay wise , I thought I would get annoyed by the constant 1,2,3 you have to push, no Auto Attack, but its meh at this point. As a melee 95% of your attacks are combos, so you are always pushing something. I've played a PoM, ToS, Demo, and Assan to 13. I wanted to test out what I thought I would enjoy the most.

PoM was my favorite, and what I will mostly likely play at launch. Though I read that with the PoM as you heal more your dmg increases, I'm not sure I saw that, maybe it comes later. I did notice on occassion I would heal and then get a "fatality" buff, that made my next nuke 20% more dmg, so maybe that's what it was. Hopefully Healing gets usefull later on, at this lvl its pointless, especially in pvp. Your heal does like 5 pts a second, and a player is hitting you for 200. Otherwise the feats look nice, will be fun to test them out and find the good build. I will be going dmg to lvl, then respec to support build later on.

PVP I dont really want to judge at this stage as its lvl 13. I could see all the assassins/barbs/rangers/dps having fun. At this point though when you see a flag carrier and you attack it then 6 others come out of stealth to pop you, it seems odd. Out of the 6 only 1 was a assassin and 1 a barb, rest were casters coming out of stealth. So seems like Full Stealth teams will be the norm. As Search seems to do nothing, I can hit it right next to a Stealthed enemy(can see the blue ring around them from a buff) and you still cant see them.

The Targeting needs some work also, maybe it was me, but it was even difficult at times to click target. The whole target the person your facing will need getting used to also, might be usefull when you get that cone heal though.

Will probably play this w/ WoW(arena/pvp with friends) until a decent SCI-Fi MMO hits, tired of fireballs, swords.

Thank goodness they'll give all the tells that idiots have since time immemorial in MMORPGs. Rampant use of AOL(well I guess it's now txt) speak, unable to type coherent sentences, etc.

Not a perfect system but it's worked well for years.

Played around with a Bear Shaman earlier. Fun. Going to try the two other priests, and a Dark Templar, and see which I like the best. Definately going to be playing this for the PvP.

With feats it seems you can actually get close to vanguard healers in terms of dmg/healing synergy, since you can just spam lance of mitras on mobs and it heals people in your group depending on how many mob you hit everytime, and if you pull aggro or whatever, you can get heals proced on your group. Overall seems fun, and I think I'll end up playing pom myself if I do decide to play(somewhat have to decide soon though because of prerelease shit).

Main issue of poms seems to be mana management, it seems you do have to drink mana potions, a lot, when grouping. When soloing you're fine since you get feats that give mana back when hit, but when you group you can't really afford to be tanking the whole thing and you have to keep casting. Seems a bit annoying, especially since supposedly the tos is much better in the mana part, and they actually buff the whole group mana regen too.

Does this include that first general feat? the mana regen that is % based? I think it was 5% will all 5 points, seems pretty decent, and scales as you get more mana.Plus some of the other feats, that give you mana back based on the amount you healed per target? Most are in the general tree. including mana reduction on all heals.
