Anyone have issues defragmenting after installing the AoC open beta deal. I ran mine and 19 of the files in the AoC folder will not defrag so my main gaming drive is now 26% fragmented wtf is this about?

Try turning your paging file off then defragging. Make sure to turn it back on afterwards.

I have tried every driver from old 169s to the latest betas. It doesn't change performance at all. It's not a hardware or driver issue. It's strictly a client issue.

I just installed the new ones in the link above, and in 5 minutes of play where I was stuttering every 10 seconds, I havn't stuttered once. Same area. Take that for what it's worth.

yeah I just installed those drivers then set it to only use core 1 (instead of both core 0 and core 1) and it made the game 10x better

I know they said to set it to 1 core if you are using a duo processor, but does the same go for a quad core?

I just can't figure out what this client does that is so amazing over WoW's that is actually valuable to gameplay to cause such horrible performance issues. The graphics alone aren't worth it.
