so is it worth it to wait til tomorow when the closed beta pvp server comes up? It's offline right now and only the pve servers are up.

The funniest part are all the people spazzing out on the general beta forums about details like "Can I say I'm in closed beta instead of open beta when I discuss levels 1-13 or will that get me banned? GIVE ME AN ANSWER OR I WONT DARE OPEN MY MOUTH BLIZ SORRY FUNCOM"

big fucking deal. talk about the game anyways, nda or no. it's not hard to prevent people from knowing it's you spilling the info.

it would be a huge favor to us all if anyone had info on high lvl stuff. i don't think anyone wants to pay $50 just to discover they aren't patching in pve/pvp raid/group content for several months.

see the problem with that is the high level content isnt on the american servers at all, so even our level 80s really dont know.

We can tell you how filled out the quests are through the different levels and what the gaps are like but even the general beta people dont know what the raid content is like. The only people raiding afaik are the ones in the raid group and theres prolly like 50 of them total. instanced cities are definitly in atleast and there is some raid content but god knows how its balanced or how much there is.

The games level curve is decently fleshed out at this point, not totally and theres some gaps where you will have no quests but its not like you hit a wall where the quests stop totally and you end up grinding 30 levels.

Quick questions maybe others already figured out?

1) Is it a bug that numpad 1-3 always seems tied to the attack left mid and right?
2) Is there no way to make the opacity of the chat windows stay dark? I hate trying to read things when I need to mouse over it to get a background.
3) Can we not hotkey the other bars? Couldn't figure out what the "Special keys" and whatever else was in the control we could set with alt-numbers

Game seems cool, was playing barb combat seemed a tad spammy really need to do some group stuff to see how that works. Is there any quest or places that need a group in the open beta?

I'm pretty astonished at how buggy this game is. And I have to admit it's pretty funny to listen to the Conan fanboys in general chat trying to defend it over and over again by saying "it's beta!!" If this is the best they've got less than 20 days before launch, I don't see good things in store for this title.

But... but... there's a debugger running in the background! and the open beta client is older than the PvP beta client, which was very stable!... and... and... what about the miracle patch!?!

Vanguard all over again... only difference is that this game has the potential to be fun.

Anecdotal to be sure but seriously the only bug Ive run into is some evading mobs. Maybe Ive just been lucky. The rest of my issues are all optimization related, really.

Vanguard all over again... only difference is that this game has the potential to be fun.

This game is already miles ahead of vanguard in terms of playability and bugs.

Ive had some issues with server lag and stability.. but no game-breaking ones.... although ive read some reports of other people having issues so I guess ive been lucky.. either way Ive been enjoying myself... and thats something I have not been able to say about an MMO in a long time..
