Craziest exaggeration in a long ass time. 3k AA wasn't possible in 2004, nor was 2k. You sir, are dumb.

You don't know anything about EQ. What the fuck is the matter with you.

LOL 2004 had like 1500 AA top end and about 300+/- that were deemed necessary. Of course class by class this varied quite a bit. Top end raiding guilds wanted like 500-700 AA and the tier two and beyond wanted at least 150 to 200 to join the guild.

I had suspected Hatorade of talking bullshit after hearing those outlandish AA numbers, but I figured it was best to let someone more knowledgeable slam the door on his ass. The list of people who post just for the sake of posting grows by the day. Take your seat next to Vatoreous, Twobit, and some other tard I can't recall right now

high five goliath.

Well fuck I am dumb but i'm also not some hardcore min/max WoW player that pretends to know everything. I was making the point of AA's meaning more then levels at this point and you need at least 1k now an days to be viable at least thats how I imagine it would be if EQ kept going the way it was going. I will stop now and try to take the foot out of my mouth.

They needed it a while back. Should at least give 50 percent bonus aa exp until you get about 1200-1500 aa's. I quit last year, but i only had a little over 1300 aa's. The rest i didnt really need so i didnt go all grind crazy. Hell, my 2box warrior had more aa's then my main. He did need them though.

Yeah please stop. There is no way, that even today, they require you to have 1000 AA. Especially when population is probably dwindled and a warm body with 300 AA is better than nobody at all.

I stopped reading at that point because you are fucking WRONG. God you are just further proving your ignorance. Good guilds now require 500ish AA. Just shut the fuck up. Levels have always given a much bigger improvement in skills than AA's have.

Depends what class you are honestly. There's no way a warrior/pally or SK is going to get in the high end raiding scene with 400 aa's, They will get their shit pushed in and pulled out.

I looked at a few random guilds, not even bleeding edge server first guilds, and they varied by class. Clerics and other critical thankless job classes that turnover faster than a fruit pastry were lowest obvioulsy at around 300AA. Dime a dozen classes were up in the 700-1k range.

Clerics arent exactly hard to find since everyone has a cleric bot anyways.

they need to boost regular exp so its much much faster to get 75, then slow it down again for 75-80.

Upgrade the graphic engine, make third person control equal to wow :P, better interface, remove zones, faster leveling, more solo mobs, quests, and quest give alot of exp ..

What would that leave us at?

Sorry, just thinking it would be kinda neat to see it turn around to something like that .. well i guess im one of those many who quit back in the day :P
